bwenyenye wrote:eboomerang wrote:Some people are good story tellers Saw this on Facebook. Quote: March 2013. The 4th Kenyan President is sworn in. The sky is filled with fireworks. One month later, Kenya is no longer a member of the ICC. The president says that Kenya is a sovereign state and will not be cowed. 5 months later, tea prices plummet, tourism is non-existent, KQ lays off more staff due its shrinking customer base. Horticulture sells come to a stand still. Fuel is at an all time high. The president makes high voltage trips to Sudan and Iran to try and foster stronger partnerships. The future of the Lamu project is unknown. Partners are looking for alternatives. Western countries withdraw all aid. The president says that Kenyans are resilient. Unemployment hits 80% and crime soars. We sit and wonder, did we need this man in state house so much that we were were willing to give up our livelihoods, the future of our children and the dignity of our country! Suddenly I wake up, and realize it was just a nightmare. We are still in 2012 and there is still hope.
With Peter Kenneth, I will have no regrets. But a prosperous Kenya to look forward to where every one is given an opportunity to pursue the Kenyan dream. Long live Kenya.
We really do not need the West that much.. Walituwachanisha siku za MOI na we are better off now... Our problems have very little to do with the west, we have created these situations our selves.

You don't need to speak and do somersaults to communicate effectively, instead, engage your brain and be attentive. Otherwise you have the option to vote Sonko for more entertainment and "aggression". ION, we need to break away from this kind of mentality.

When you are aggresive, you go for what you want, both with brain and being attentive (as you have said). Currently, one of the aggresive candidates is UMK/WSR....they are reaching out. PK is still focusing on the Nairobi middle class...

People are yet understand what political power is all about, it's never given, look at Obama, he came from nowhere, worked hard to achieve what he did, no shortcuts eti they are the best people, you must convice the electorate!!!! ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

nostoppingthis wrote:Peter Kenneth, Raphael Tuju, Ole Kiyiapi are currently "having lunch" at the InterContinental Nairobi....Another union? Not a formidable force. Tuju might not get votes from his back yard while Kiyapi needs another 5yrs to build himself politically. He still sounds like an intelectual and not a politician. PK should rethink this move, he should be courting Mr. watermelon. BBI will solve it :)

The moment cabinet decided that diaspora will not vote is the moment PK lost any chance of getting near the presidency.
He should sponsor somebody to take the matter to court for constitutional interpretetion and with a certificate of URGENCY.

I have asked this question somewhere before and all I got was silence from people in PK's backyard....the PK followers who are yapping about issue-based politics etc, why didn't they have the same feelings towards Tujoo when he launched his party? They also claim that Tujoo is development oriented...
@2012, you say Tujoo may not get a huge vote from his backyard...flip that coin, will PK get a huge following from his backyard?

@Jump-steady, same question I ask...If both PK and Tujoo are development-oriented, would you vote for Tujoo as president without PK? Why didn't we have so much hype for Tujoo from the PK-peole?

What did PK in his launch, say different from what UMK said at his KICC launch? (aside form UMK saying that he will fight historical injustices...the rest were basically the same)
