Quote:Society is not always reflective of the leadership and vice versa. To give an example, one of the most beloved US presidents JFK during his short stint at the top presided over a racist white society. Is this reflective on his leadership?
That just caught my attention.you are right but it's not like that in kenya or africa.
Kenyans esp, pay allegiance to their leaders. We follow them like blind sheep even if what they say doesn't seem to make much sense.
And this happens because they 'buy/bribe' us.
In kenya we 'hardly' question leaders. We dont ask why,how and when if asked to do something because we fear losing some favours.
As long as there is a promise ahead whether true or false we all say yes.
A leader who buys his people tends to have influence over them because they dance to his tunes. He becomes a semi god and the people he rules over start reasoning just like him. They talk like him and act like him.
A true reflection of the leader.
I could be wrong but that is what I see in Kenya, its no wonder we have a lot of recyling going on.
"The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good.
