The poster of no.69 is definitely a politician in the making. She/he/it can identify a potbellied man on phone...

I believe we will be ok by Dec. Talking to the NSSF office helps. I haven't dealt with NERA.

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly yaaawnnn...you must be one of the two potbellied guys I mentioned there...nerve!!!

It's truly amazing how we expect change, yet when the facts are given we bash the person giving these facts...the truth always hurts!!!!! deal with it

Problems can get out of proportion, and not only in the wee small hours. Don't let the problems eclipse the Master. Let the Master eclipse the problems.

I visited the estate and was impressed by the general look. The lawns are well maintained. The place looks clean. The houses look smaller than I thought but the size is standard for all phases.
As for the water issue, they are in the process of sinking 5 boreholes which should resolve the water issue for good. I want to believe this is a permanent solution. The boreholes and connection should be done by November.

I am happy that there is improvement, the water issue is the most important and if it can be resolved is a big plus for the estate.Applause The estate is neat, hiyo mambo ya number 4 ni chumvi tu!How did you confirm that they bore holes will indeed be ready in November?

NSSF office. Guy named Cherono. I took his word for it. I have dealt with him before and he has been reliable.

Good people how are you.
I am told NSSF stopped Tenant Purchase Scheme for the Nyayo Embakasi houses and nwdays they tell people to go to the bank for mortgage or pay cash.
Is this true for the upcoming Phase IV houses that are to be sold

I am told thats the approach you need cash money or get a loan from the bank no more tenant purchase because of the same rule i am told that houses are still available....

How reliable is this information? What about the people who have placed a deposit?

They will be required to apply for a loan from the bank or pay in cash to clear, about reliability? please confirm this with NSSF (I am not on the ground am simply talking to my contacts in the country who are giving me this feedback).

Most banks will normaly finance 85% of the value of the propery you are buying.1M is 16% so i think you would qualify but you will also need more cash to pay other legal costs like stamp duty etc. Who knows when this houses will be ready? Has the water problem been sorted? I am seeing the earlist may be just before Christmas!!
