Maombi gani haya sasa??? @king, this guy is a handball fan. am a soccer guru, i get pissed by the aseno, man u ... bandwagon of local fans, who can watch a match without kelele and phone calls to friends, "leo TUtawachapa...., leo Mtakiona... leo Mumetuweza..." I find the English premier league too hyped. I find the English media too arrogant and biased, always ready with excuses whenever an english team loses, oo ref, oooh injury.... how they hype new young players like wishere (Pep says they have 6 like him in La massa!) My favourite team, Barca. And thats since the days when Real Madrid were dominating La liga and Barca were not winning in Europe.

@theu, EPL is not overhyped. Heck, even La Liga wishes to go the EPL way and get that global following that makes EPL top. They wanted to change their kickoff times to coincide with EPL times. A soccer guru would know that, dont you think? Fans world over say what local fans say. They diss each other, they talk big. Why watch a match without making noise? Kwani its a movie? Whatever you say, the behaviour of local fans is repeated in each and every country that loves football. Luck is when Preparation meets Opportunity. ~ Lucius Annaeus Seneca

Whatever you say, the behaviour of local fans is repeated in each and every country that loves football. In terms of money and following, yes the EPL is ahead for now, quality of the game it is overhyped. Sure, the money has attracted big names but that is yet to produce quality and consistency in their game. Kick and rush football is still very alive in EPL despite the foreign influx of top players from outside UK. I guess the culture is too engraved in the country, plus the English managers are quite a number in the league. Get the ball into the box and hope something happens! Arsenal have tried to change it but they are yet to transform that into success. I call it "kizazaa" football."

I came across these arsenal excuses -barcelona was selfish with the ball. they wanted to play alone, they even scored against themselves - Kama tungeenda extra time Barcelona wangeona vumbi -wenger said we dont go to the final coz we will lose again -the referee blew his whistle in spanish. -ball possesion barcelona-70% arsenal-5% almunia-25% haha

@Taz, Fergie's decision to give media a black out was before the Liverpool game. It was in response to his comments after the Chelsea game. Wacha siasa. Luck is when Preparation meets Opportunity. ~ Lucius Annaeus Seneca

So his response was to give the media a black out after the Chelsea game, guess he didn't realize Liverpool would thrash them like that.....what a bitter old man! Btw his decision goes against rules brought in by the Premier League at the start of this season to ensure a spokesperson is always made available to the press after matches.
