What's a better gauge is consistency i.e. do they release results around the same time each quarter. Some might do so consistently on Day 57-59 every quarter. What's worrying is when a bank that usually releases on Day 45 delays it to Day 59. Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett
