Very kind words for the Kenyattas. There are some guys who asking why ???? Robert Alai being one of them.

Baba's base is locked. Its Uhuru's supporters who need pacifying. Not necessarily to vote Baba, but to feel less threatened by his presidency.

RAO was very conciliatory today. I think he did well to attack the 'fear'

Nice strategy. Noted even on issue of zoning and tribal voting he made very conciliatory remarks

But you now have to agree with me. You cannot afford to miss a debate as an opposition candidate

Nothing new, the same Monkey perching, Raila cannot tell who will win and tells us come out and vote for your candidate.
The debate was lively due to meandering, confusion by Raila.
Raila makes Jokes instead of just talking, talking......he did not answer straight questions.
Those who paid to be there lost their money
Too reckless meandering and blaming not telling us what he will do.
For me....No Change for Nasa...its a dead dog, cannot even bark!!
The Last statement was positive only....Vote whom you want!!!

RAO had a good show, but it did not change anybody's vote. It was just that a show

For some, they have all to gain/lose. I have relatives who lived in Kibera (Ayany), 2007. They became IDPs that election. Where my parents live, they also had to organize something as the drums of war came out from the man on stage today. So yes, everyone has all to gain/lose. If he says he would accept results as they are, people will not lose sleep on whoever is the next president. The drums of war currently being played have changed the landscape completely.

And yet, our brother's posts here are full of hate for Rao the man. How does that make it better for all of us ?

I am in several NASA whatsapp groups. You can imagine the kind of memes I receive daily. Most are offensive. You should see the ones guys are sharing now why Uhuru missed the debate. I never forward them to anyone. I have never posted any here on Wazua.

If we disconnect from our political choices emotionally, and simply make a rational choice on 8.8.17, we shall have a great country regardless of who wins. We owe it to the next generation.

My prediction. By 2032, guys will be laughing hearing that at some point, we used to fight because of elections.

And that's why you go for debates. Not because of the ref but because your opponent may just throw a curve ball.

He was baited a number of times to say something nasty about Uhuru, he never did. Baited to say the elections are rigged, he said that he believed what the gov't told him and IEBC told him

In my view and I've seen enough of this stuff. Not showing up doesn't win you any votes. It loses them.

For all the things he said I did not agree with, he never said one thing that the Jubilee brigade here has been saying. In fact, he ended with a statement of hope for the country.

I don't know who made this decision for the president. I remember the last time he nearly also missed out. Yet he probably won because he said "willing buyer willing seller"

Very sad indeed.

He has refused to say that he will accept the results. His stand seems to be,he will accept if he wins.
At FRM, its contradictory to say the country will be great regardless of who wins. That's doesn't make sense since the choice is between stories (Raila) and progress (UK).

Amores you are lying. Unfortunately only lying to yourself. He said the total opposite of what you have just said. Go repeat the whole 90 minutes to get the right quote. This type of lying is what is bringing problems and tensions to this country. I wonder who it serves.

I was not referring to the debate,I didn't watch it,was referring to his previous utterances and those of his liutenants.
I saw a tweet from ODM account that " the only outcome of a free and fair election is a NASA win"

May be am too optimistic.

Both my daughters will be voters in 2032. One will vote in 2022. They have no idea what tribe they are. None can speak a sentence in Kikuyu and they always claim me and madam we speak funny. Their friends are a mixture of all races and tribes. There is a reason why rural counties are not registering more voters compared to urban ones. Nairobi, Kiambu, Mombasa, Nakuru, Machakos, Kajiado were the counties that lead in new voters registered. A new urbanized generation is coming up. They might ignore voting in 2017 and 2022. But by 2032, this will be their country. Our generation, the tribal neanderthals, will be badly outnumbered.

BTW, in our whatsapp groups Baba's supporters are split down the middle on the issue of "clean coal". No blind loyalty here. Reminds me of a saying , " The future is already here, but its not evenly distributed".
