remember I said it here. Post No.28. Posted on 16th January, 2016. Premonition? Back then they were paying between 18% and 24% on deposits. No premonition needed, ponzi alert activated. Remember, if it looks like a goat, has horns like a goat, and bleats like a goat, then it probably is a goat. Some guys were not amused with your sentiments that time. I always wondered if these trio could scam their employer, Britam, what aren't they capable of? It’s four of them. Edwin Dande, Patricia Wanjama, Elizabeth Nkuku and Shiv Arora. I called it from day one and everyone hated on me. https://twitter.com/bone...290580602060668928?s=21
“ @CytonnInvest there's some mazematics going on in your unit trust statements that you need to fix. Things don't add up.” Word on the street is that Shiv Arora has jumped ship like the proverbial rat. Business opportunities are like buses, there's always another one coming

Yes Queen, Patricia was legal at Britam.

Through all my research, I remember entering their offices once as a “potential client” Edwin and Shivs eyes were bloodshot red and one had a little “baby powder” stuck to their tie.

Had my money reinvested back into the fund for an extended period of 1 year from my due date through the infinite wisdom of the board. I will be back here tell you in 2 years whether or not I still have my money.

-- Cytonn High Yield Solution (CHYS) -- Cytonn High Yield Fund (CHYF)
At best, Cytonn did a terrible job making sure their investors understand what they were investing in. At worst, Cytonn intentionally wanted to confuse their investors.
It was obviously this one, prey on the massess' innocence and limited investment knowledge/exposure. I have invested in the cyton high yield solution and have gotten my money out with no problem or hustle. I then reinvested again and I am still expecting to get my money with no hustle. Will know by September if I get my money. But the experience clear. They informed me several times through the agent that this is an unregulated product and they try to sell you to the regulated product. You even sign that you know he risk. Wouldn't say they tried to hide anything. Do i know their investment strategy that will yield 18% in these ridiculous times. NO! Do I expect to get 18% interest ..... YES! These are the kind of messages I need from my fund manager "Dear Esteemed Client, Following the assent of the Tax Amendment Bill 2020, CHYS & CPN investors will now enjoy a final tax rate of 15% on their returns, instead of the previous 30%. This is more reason to further your investment in CHYS & CPN. CMMF & CHYF will continue as before with a 15% final tax on the interest" Let me collect my 18% +covid tax relief yangu. Aluta continua!

If you have and been unsuccessful, you should probably get the other investors and a lawyer. Unless the money has already left and been embezzled by the four thieves. Sorry about your luck. They were a horrible scam from day 1. Best of luck to you. I have tried and they say the board decided to extended redemption dates by 12 months after already moving mine by 3 months. You also had the option of topping up and buying a unit/ not sure which development at current market prices. Now everyone is silent. I’m sorry to tell you, they’ll extend again after the year is up. They have the right. You’ll never see the money. It’ll disappear. Sorry for your troubles, I would still advise a lawyer and finding other investors to join (Twitter is a good place to start) Best of luck. This is not a thread/topic I usually post on since I am mostly in equities and GoK paper. Read a few pages. Vitu ni motomoto. Good luck! @PaulKimani 10 - 0 @Haters You can't be serious. @paulkimani is as biased as they come. Standing in the middle of a pandemic saying "I told you this company will fail 5 years ago" is like standing in the middle of a storm and saying I told you it's going to rain. So before we crown paulkimani a prophet for trolling a company for 5 years you have to access cytonn correctly 1. Are the issues they are facing mainly due to the Rona or is it bad management. PK says its bad management and insinuated that they take drugs. Very biased! 2. The financial market have massive inefficiencies. Can a company honestly make 25% returns on investments consistently. In real estate yes but the big problem with real estate is financing for it. This is what I can tell cytonn is doing getting cheap funds and using the cheap funds in real estate and other areas and doing it at scale. I think that is the relevant question? Is Cytonn successfully using the money raised in activities that can ensure 25-30% returns consistently. I did my home work maybe the rest can do theirs as well. 3. If you have answered issues 1 and 2 then the final question should be .... what does this mean for their future. Well Rona, will still be here and real estate will not have improved so is this just kicking the can down the road. Depending on how you answer question 2 the future can real look very very bright for anyone who is liquid and wants to get into real estate. As Wamugunda will say ploti maguta maguta are every where and you can squeeze those shillings till Kenyatta winces on the statue. Cytonn has successfully locked down funds for an extra 1-3 years for most people. in a real estate market that is down if they know what they are doing this is christmas for cytonn. But as a hater. Paul Kimani is the example of a troll that has no substance. At least Wamugunda knows what he is talking about but this comedian has no clue how to evaluate this business. Paul Kimani 0 - Haters 0.

Apologies, he was the COO - Chief Operating Officer. Sad he can quit and get away with it, while operations are still ongoing and clients are worrying tirelessly or don’t have access to their funds during this unprecedented time. Hopefully they will ALL be held liable when the time comes.
