Well, either way. I got good use from the modem (5,600/-) for the past few months. The savings were great 25Gb for 1,000/- and decent speeds. It is cheaper than Airtel and Telkom. Much cheaper than Saf. Works well in "proper" Nairobi and Nyali/CBD Mombasa. I hope it survives! I love the savings! Greedy when others are fearful. Once in a while the speeds did drop but overall I was fine. I usually download movies (Netflix) and the slow speeds, if any, don't bother me. I used it extensively to stream during the WC and it worked OK. If it goes under, I will miss it. I don't want to return to Zuku, Safcom, Airtel or Telkom. Zuku is not mobile and their speeds are often lousy. The mobile hotspots are nothing to write home about. They also jacked up their rates! Safaricom - Reliable and my back-up when needed. Countrywide coverage but most of my need is within Nairobi and occasionally Mombasa. Pricey. Very pricey. Airtel and Telkom - Iffy speeds. Spotty national coverage. Cheaper than Safaricom. 2x Faiba. Mobile. They should combine forces to improve their overall coverage. Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

Didn't know where to post this technology tidbit... Does wazua have a tech thread...? It seems like the iPhone with a 6.1" screen will have dual SIM tray... To be availed on the 12th of September... Quite something I must say...
