CNN misleading in the reporting:
1. Children were NOT killed because they were going to school, they were killed because their fathers are in the Army and Talibans are retaliating against Zarb-e-Azb.

2. Hospitals are NOT only taking in male patients because of discrimination. The attack was on the MALE section of the school. The injured ARE mostly males.

I'd go with the Al Jazeera angles for this story.

While we are this, let me ask you again:
1. Who started the 1st world war? Was it Muslim?
2. Who started the 2nd world war? Was it Muslim?
3. Who killed about 20 million Aborigines in Australia? Was it Muslim?
4. Who sent the nuclear bombs to Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Was it Muslim?
5. Who killed more than 100 million Indians in North America? Was it Muslim?
6. Who killed more than 50 million Indians in South America? Was it Muslim?
7. Who took about 180 millions of Africans as slaves, of whom 88% died and were thrown in the Atlantic Ocean? Was it Muslim?
8. Who created Al Qaeda, wasn't created by US?
9. Who created Taliban, wasn't created by US?
10. What rumours about Boko Haram and AL Qaeda, was Al Qaeda was created by C.I.A, hence by extension Boko Haram?
11. Wasn't C.I.A who plotted the Sep 11 to justify invasion of Afghanistan?
12. Didn't US said there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, but there is Oil?

WTF? I can swear you are the damn 'preacher' I bumped into some fm station last Sunday. He was quoting this same lines.

Muslims do not need to justify themselves in the face of extremism

This is a very good read and I agree with it.

Islam is a misunderstood religion. Its actually not so much different from Christianity. Living in an Islamic community, I discover new things about the religion on a daily basis. I would not want to be a Muslim...but still very many controversial issues like Jihad are clear to me now.....and a lot of the stuff being said, especially in this forum, are actually not true...

It must be common sense! Just because one acts in the name of a religion does not mean that he or she speaks for all its followers. I happen to remember a certain guy who went on a rampage killing the so called "Jesus killers!"

I think we over judge Muslims. But of course this is because we also do not understand their religion thus we will accept anything we hear.

Coexistence and appreciation, more so in this Wazua community, will only happen if we take a minute or two to understand and seek knowledge

...ermm... glad we have someone who has lived in an 'Islamic community' but truth be told you don't have to be in Egypt(Land of the Muslim Brotherhood) to know.. we also live amongst Muslims here, eat, work, study and for some even sleep with..and in fact go out to seek their views..if you've followed this thread, a myriad ones on Al Shabaab and ISIS or similar ones like Mumbai, you'd notice that..you sleep over that..I welcome your contributions where you see miscarriage of perceptive justice.

If you for the violence, post like guru with your guided or misguided Koranic quote. If you are a Muslim against the extremism, post forthright si kusema America oh oh, Yahudi eh eh..

Example of a forthright post:

From Australia to Pakistan, when will the cycle of violence caused by misguided Muslims end? Innocent blood is being spilled and justified by misinterpretations of Islamic teachings. I pray that Allah protect the Muslim and non-Muslim nations from evil done by those within our own ranks and call on everyone to stop them by changing our nation peacefully through education.

There is a very big difference between living in a population of 10% Muslims...who are greatly spread out and living in a 90% Muslim majority. Flawed information can be easily passed along in the former unless one is really keen on seeking a deep and true understanding...and truth be told most of us just accept what we read on a simple Google page or what a friend told a friend who told a friend.

Egypt is not the Land of Muslim Brotherhood... Egyptians would cringe at that comment....95% of Egyptians hate Muslim Brotherhood and disagree with them.

Death count at 135, mostly innocent children.

Jesus loved children and in Matthew 19:14 said : "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

May divine retribution at its maximum be set upon these savages and their supporters and may the children's parents get comfort during this very difficult period.

Im just curious... When Mary was giving birth to your "lord" and our savior at the age of 12/14/16 was she a child or a woman in the eyes of God??

In the eyes of God puberty is adulthood.

Most real actual children were killed by stray bullets from the security forces Sad

Alphdoti is doing what is in his sight logical. He knows that sister Guru, I and others, are watching him. He knows that betrayers, apostates & cowards will not be 'tolerated'.

All his blabberings and mutterings of 'oh cia this, muslims that' are just to buy time.

He knows the expectations on him. It will soon be demanded of him to state if he is for 'us' or against 'us'. He knows the penalty of 'desertation'. He and other wishy-washy muslims cannot please Allah & true muslims on one hand and others both at the same time forever. That's the bottom line.

The Taliban as well as eye witnesses have confirmed it's the Taliban that targeted the children.

Guru, why come here and lie to try mask their acts? It's now evident even your support for these acts is waning. Admit when you are wrong.
