Given Britak's true market price is Ksh5.40, the mboys did a great job for Jimnah today.
Hope we won't have a repeat of the Mumias FSO which drove Nyaga into Bankruptcy...

Wanjiku must learn fast how to read a prospectus and perform comparative analysis of securities. The 'vendors' this year seem destined to rob her the hard earned money!

The real exit stampede is yet to arrive as Wanjiku bolts for the door to avoid the massacre. I had earlier predicted a Ksh 4.50 price but based on todays fall, a price below Ksh 4 may well print before the year is over, epecially if the fall in profits is as dramatic as anticipated in the prospectus.

Anybody who perused the IPO prospectus would not have touched this IPO. Thats why only Wanjiku bought.

Happy Hunting.

@Drake - on May 6th 2010 the Dow slid 1000pts in minutes. It was called "a fat finger" event... Something similar to what you are saying about the 6/- low.

But since this was an IPO listing on day one, the buy/sell limit rule of 10% does not apply...

$15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

When equity and Housing finance were going for 25.00 +, in april their profits were down 60% currently Equity is at 18 and Hfck at 16. So how low do you think their profits are now (if any)
