On that fateful day... early in the morning, there was one athlete practicing in the morning, and unfortunately past the gate of the church he was waylaid and hacked to death.

@Alph you are such a shameless liar. Why do you want to rewrite history?

Show me the lie. Do not just shout.

The athlete was leading a group of raiders that were looting and burning in an area about 10km away from the church when he met his fate. Do you want the link to the story?

Made up stories? Similar to the one from the so-called lorry driver? I can tell you today no vehicle were operating around that time... not even personal cars... sembuse a lorry! I was in Eldy when hell broke out... I got stranded too. Nation is publishing a story which is probably doctored to develop a certain agenda. We do not want to incite new hate or violence!

This bothers me. 12 years after PEV we are still debating about who did what. Fact is that we were all crazy at that time and did very bad things to each other.
Uhuru and Ruto missed a big historic opportunity to initiate a truth and reconciliation process . They made a political pact but the healing process never took off

You are right @kaka2za. We all watched on TV all those fellows at KICC at all times. We saw in broad daylight them complaining to Kivuitu all those days!!! Until the announcement on 29th... the mob all over the country reacted resulted in violence. Burning and eviction... All these were bad things. The reaction of the communities around led to deaths... That's why I say if you must discuss about these, then discuss all, including even Kibera killings by the police and champion reconciliation. One-sided stories will incite hatred...

If Uhuru is serious about being tied of endless politiricking by politicians, he needs to come out clear and call out Murathe and that Mulmulwas from Nyeri. They are the thorns in the flesh.

If that's the plan, to tame Nyerians you have already lost before 2022

Who can take anyone seriously who says that Sicily Kariuki and Mucheru can plan a murder? Like seriously? Seriously?

Kitaeleweka.

Laughing out loudly....Ruto is desperate for attention and sympathy. I really doubt Sicily and Mucheru can slaughter a cockerel on their own.

People left their homes, some to their ancestral homes in other towns, other to police stations, others to churches etc. No one was hacked or "arrowed". No one touched them. Not a single soul!

So they should have been grateful

Anyway. This was a revenge attack. Let's deal with Naivasha heinous attack

I agree with you on one thing. We shouldn't resurrect PEV stories for political ends. It's possible that media is being used to target specific vote areas by reminding them painful things that could turn them against some candidate.

I hate it when I can't figure out the game being played but on this one I am totally blank. For wsr to call DCI, he is sending a message to someone.

While we can deduce whom the message is intended for, it is hard to tell what the message to his boss is.

Paranoia ?? Sonko yes but not wsr. Unless someone has been tightening the noose around his finances behind the scenes.

Can jubilee survive as it is ?? No chance.
Might wsr quit before 2022 and fight from outside ? Hard to tell.

Time to become a life member of Democratic Party (DP).

If you refuse an hyena access to a kill, it will attack you. Likely scenario... CSs have refused looto access to looting opportunities in their ministries.
Life is short. Live passionately.

The letter was fake....

https://www.standardmedi...wants-ruto-investigated

Quote:
Detectives are now investigating the source of the letter that named four CSs and a number of PSs, including Kibicho.
Although those in the know have dismissed the letter as fake, investigators are reported to have raided an exclusive cyber office at a location in Karen, where it is believed to have been drafted.
“A lot has been retrieved from that office. The officers are presently pursuing two individuals, who are suspected to have been behind the fake letter to cause a scare,” said another official.
The official, while referring to the letter that was purportedly addressed to the President, described the happenings as ‘a political circus’, saying Cabinet secretaries do not write to the President directly but through Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua.
Ruto has refused to record his statement, which would officially kick-off an investigation, thus forcing police to now concentrate on the source of the letter.

You cannot tell the whole world you are going to commit a crime or you participated in the commission of a crime....Why would one implicate themselves? I was side eying this saga...No one in their right senses would tell on themselves..Especially one in that capacity...One has a lot to loose....Didnt make sense to me..There was that element of doubt....

Too much drama and childish sideshows going on in the country this week. Mara it is assassination of DP, mara it is Mutua and Sonko behaving like delinquent juveniles, mara it is a functional illiterate MP calling on Kenyans to chase away Tanzanians who have lived amongst us for decades as brothers and sisters and sold us good brand-new-second-hand clothes and shoes.

It is a big shame that all of this UTOTO is coming from the ruling Jubilee government. On the other hand,Baba looks very Presidential, focused and organized while carrying out continental duties and hosting delegations at his modest and tidy Capital hill offices.

Let the hyenas cannibalize themselves....or is it a smokescreen by Jubilee to divert attention from the public with an aim of hiding a big scandal ??d'oh! d'oh!

Politics is childish and interesting to watch.

Kiunjuri distanced himself from the "alleged murder plotters" in the cabinet. Indeed, the kaleo MPs started questioning why he was absent at La mada if indeed the meeting was about development. Word on the grapevine is that he wants to be Ruto's running mate in 2022.

Today he was in my home county to "launch" an irrigation project. Ngunjiri Wambugu invaded the meeting (it was in his constituency) and told waziri the money was taxpayer's money so he shouldn't be milking political capital out of it.

My take : Kiunjuri is in a class of his own when it comes to oratory skills in Kikuyu. Would be a good choice for anyone eyeing Mt.Kenya vote. However, his base in Laikipia county has very few voters. The lowest in the entire Mt.Kenya region. So he hypes on his Nyeri roots. Ngunjiri's role today must have been intended to remind Kiunjuri that Nyeri is not his base.

Now we can see why Ngunjiri acted out of character today. He is loud and boisterous but not the confrontational type. Someone pulled the strings here. The funny part is that immediately after election, Ngunjiri was the lone voice in Kieleweke group. Today, he is the face of an extremely well organised, well-funded movement.

Anyone who listened to Waiguru during the embrace meeting in Muranga would already know this. Waiguru delivered a speech in Kikuyu that would rank up there with Kiunjuri. In a nutshell, she said that the seat of the head of the house of Mumbi was not vacant.
Her exact words;
"cia mucii iri gacuguma gatahutagio ni mundu ungi tiga mwene kuo"
"Nyumba yuio ni muraari ti murooki"
