weight change is 64kgs - 83kgs. I know that's a bit over the top, but my first goal was to stop looking so emaciated and lift big weights. I also sacrificed abs in the process

My legs are the biggest change. In fact I've stopped training them twice a week because big legs were getting uncomfortable around the crotch area. Unfortunately I don't have access to a private full body mirror to take leg pics with

64 to 83 in 5 months? Steroids? Share your concoctions, and your liver lab work

If your legs were getting bigger then you are very blessed! Even Swazneger had to train his legs to the point he couldn't walk, for his legs to show any gain. So you'll forgive my scepticism... as for a picture, si you stand on a stool/table etc and take the picture?

that is nowhere near steroid results. As you can see I've got a bit of fat surrounding the muscle. I've done it all natural, I haven't even had those shakes and powders (nothing against them, they're just too expensive for me).

As for tips, I would say the most important thing was STUDYING HARD. Reading diligently is not just for certificates. Any major undertaking in my life involves studying in preparation for the event. When I decided I wanted to change my weight, I spent the first month after that leafing through diet and exercise literature on the web.

2nd and final tip is that this thing is 75% diet, 25% exercise. I spent month two tweaking my diet till I saw consistent change in my weighing scale, THEN I hopped into the gym as the cherry on the cake.

Applause Impressive.

Yes, reading before ANYTHING is important. Which begs the question, don't you know the core is the most important part of the body to train? Upper and lower body are mostly aesthetics, and even then, having a 6-pack beats both hands down.

This 'tweaked' diet, care to share? (In detail)

Great arguments. Guy lasts longer because he's huffin' and a puffin', sweating like a pig and pausing every 30 seconds to slow down his troubled ticker.
