Has anyone considered the possibility that the handshake was an Uhuruto strategy.
They sat down and hatched the plan, "The best way to tame this guy (Raila) is for us to look like we are fighting so let us do this, I will call you tangatanga then I will invite him for a handshake then I will give him a job with Africa Union... si you know the way he likes titles. But we have to get rid of that Miguna guy kwanza because he is the one who makes him difficult to deal with. Let us try and keep him in the box until just before the elections then I will change my mind and support you. Tuko pamoja my brother."
You know the saying keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Who can forget Uhuru fuming, "Mimi sina shida na wajaluo, shida yangu ni mtu mmmoja tu." If you believe he was sincere then and today he is enjoying the handshake, what makes you think Ruto is still not his man?
