EABL increases beer prices to cover rising input costs – The beer manufacturer has increased beer prices for the second time in four months to cover rising raw material costs and grow sales. A crate of Tusker is now costing KES 2,714, a 7.7% increase, at the wholesale level and sources at the brewer reckon that other products will rise by more than KES 10. The review will affect all its 23 beer brands including White Cap, Guinness and its newest product Balozi and non-alcoholic beverages like Malta and Alvaro. Spirit prices remain unchangedApplause Applause Applause Applause Applause . The new prices have been effective from July 6th. The move is driven by the need to protect margins from the rising costs.

450 crates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

450 * 24 * 40 = 432,000 Shillings.

You carried all these in hard cash from Nairobi to Mai Mahiu?

Correction,a crate has 25 bottles so redo your maths and factor in 10k for cops and 18k for truck hire. I mostly walk with cash due to the nature of my businesses.

You are endangering the lives of many Kenyans by reselling that stuff. Accident beers may have internal cracks not clearly visible and may be very harmful to the consumer. Beware such have led to deaths in the past. if you swallow broken glass (say as small as a grain of sand or perhaps bigger), anatomy will tell us that it will go down your esophagus, trachea, larynx, pharynx, and into your stomach. the epiglottis prevents food or any ingested materials from going into your lungs. if the chipped glass is sharp it could cause damage to your stomach lining or your intestines. this is usually the case when you find blood in your feces. if for some reason it goes into your lungs, it will cause aspiration pneumonia thereby causing symptoms such as difficulty in breathing and chest pain
