The fund managers are taking up positions on the bluechips for purposes of quarterly reporting. Demand will not be sustained in october. Similar stories on eabl, nmg, kplc, bat, bamburi,

In the case of KK, I think that the sellers (at sub Kshs 9) were cleared out. Note - with the increases in prices of fuel across all outlets, people have warmed up to the idea that there must be some substance to what KK has been saying.

NAV as at H1 2010 level was over Kshs 8. The 2009 EPS from outside Kenya was Kshs 0.28 (32% of total) and Kshs 0.36 in 2008 (46% of total). Bottomline, at the very worst KenolKobil can survive without the Kenyan operations.

All the same a resolution of the debacle with KPRL/KPC/MOE would be welcome!

I stand to be corrected but i think a company listed in the nse must be doing its business in kenya.

Why should KK stop its operations in Kenya?
They should continue to fight it out against the corrupt MoE officials! These chaps are going to lose in 2012 so KK needs to fight it out for 2 more years...

In the meantime KK is growing only its regional business which is the right strategy!

When KK triumphs over the MoE, ERC, KPC & KPRL crooks... I will be RICH...

Its quite clear that the oil companies have developed bad blood with mr.nyoike who even appears powerful than his boss becoz kiraitu hardly comments.the marketers cant lower prices as a fighting strategy to chase away nyoike.the only way forward is to uproot the black nyoike with his seat..one man can spoil a country's economy.
