Question good folks. What exactly does sitsit ups and the roller do to the body? Do they add any value to a guy who is trying to lose weight?

Does exercise help in weight reduction? On average, the answer is 'no'.

Rollers and sit ups, are like bathing with Kanyari's blessed salt seven times a day waiting for a miracle.

I agree with you 100%.

Exercise helps to tone the body and keep one fit.

To loose weight its all about diet and food portions.I can give a testimony.

Don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings but hii ni porojo tu! The lazy consoling themselves.

I remember reading 'Everyone talks about Weight loss, but I'm yet to hear someone say Fat loss'. Yes, to loss ALL manner of weight including muscle atrophy, then starve yourself. But to do it the right way, burn that fat! There is a reason its called fat burning.. Convert it to muscle. Or tone it down.

That said, none of the two can be done in isolation. Not for lasting healthy results. Exercise and diet. Muwache uzembe!

1. Feelings can't be hurt
2. The body normally knows when to burn, or to store fat, and even the amount of fat to store
3. If one has an optimal lifestyle meaning eating right, fostering proper mental health, good relationships, and work/physical activity he/she may not need to visit the gym
4. Physical exercise is meant to supplement a sedentary lifestyle mostly and in apparently rare cases to train the mind and to enhance performance and output

Don't presume that we're lazy, or unfit or people who don't exercise. On the contrary.

Yes, you are not lazy. You are beyond that.

The benefits of exercise are immense. The best thing you can do for your body besides fermented foods.

Right off the bat is strengthening bones. Body uses calcium to alkalize the body. It sometimes 'borrows' said calcium from the bones... why some people are susceptible to broken bones. To strengthen your bones, you need among other things Vitamin D (Sunlight) and strength training. Both male and female. Otherwise as you age, you'll be a weakling. Bending over and all
Another reason that quickly comes to mind is lymphatic system. The broom in your body. The blood is pumped around by the heart. There is nothing to pump around lymph. Exercise expedites this.
Exercise boosts your mental state etc etc

Do you even know the relationship between muscle and testosterone? Get off your ass and lift something, else don't blame @Washiku for 'doing' your 'work' for you

Ah! @Mukiri, tell me about the connection between muscle and testosterone and why @Washiku is about to do the job for me.

Hello wazuans

I have a problem and i would like some advice.
I am starting to doubt my gym's weighing scale.
Recently have been forced to adjust my clothes twice to smaller sizes but the weighing scale shows i have not lost any weight??

But i know for a fact i have had a significant weight loss everywhere except the tummy. could this be the cause?
what to do? i.e what do i need to do to loose my tummy fat, exercise? diet etc advice.
