The company could not reduce the authorised share capital as per existing company act hence need to first split the stock and then revert back to logical issuance levels, via share consolidation which when approved at the EGM will lead to a nominal value of KES 1 per share..

Massive dilution
! That's serious underestimation @spikes

I will go praying for minority shareholders aka @obiero and the choir at uhuru park, but pride centre ng'o sikanyanyi. Hata ningerushwa huko na canon launcher, siwezi make. Sad Sad Sad Drool
That's called revaluation and consolidation of a massively/ grossly misvalued stock after severe impairment of assets and especially where such a valuation is essential for a coerced aka negotiated capital restructuring to engage with strategic investors aka banks who have insisted on book cleaning first. Humble pie it is. Finally can kicking has come to an end and worms are popping all over at tumbili. The fact that none was ready to touch this estranged kqueer without guarantee from uncle Sam, let the cat out of the purse. Na bado, hiki kitendawil kina kishindo.
Someone should vote wisely if they have been saved from being drawn and being quartered. Narrow save, but the pain must be palpable.
Those inside you are lucky, but whipping ndio mtapata. But at least, you were not summarily bought all in Lump sum @100/=(@spikes prediction nav) by angrily ocreditors or statutory woundup and liquidated and sent packing with nothing as mere ordinary mortals. Your absolute title to kqueer diminished to nothingness half a decade away fyi.

This could be your very first post that is easily understood.. Hehe. Thank you for your empathy but it's not needed.. As for KES 100 wind up token, even that would not be on the table incase liquidation had been enforced. But now with positive equity and cash flow injection of over KES 18B, the sky is the floor!!

I am so glad I took my losses and got rid of this piece of crap 5 years ago though it's a pity I am a shareholder via GoK as a Taxpayer.
Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

@vvs please read the circular, even if it's for the sake of it. GoK has gotten a very good deal and the other shareholders too. By logic, we should expect a rally today..
