Damnit I missed the deadline...was out of town and too busy to log in on phone.

Anyway, my predictions would have been (believe it or not)

Brazil
Colombia
Netherlands
Costa Rica

As they happened, despite almost everything being almost being thrown off the script...almost...and:

France
Germany
Argentina
Belgium

I won't miss the quarter final predictions and I believe those ones won't be as straight forward as the knockout stages, in terms of prediction, not what actually happens in the game e.g. penalties, etc.

Since you made this prediction after half of the games in round of 16 had been played, I allowed the predictions for the other half. If you'd been on time, you could have gained the full 8 points!
