Also gave me a chance to review the info. All in all I think KQ is a good buy at this price. Most of the known bad news has been factored in...

@VVS,(also Jammo to comment). From another site I've noted that the foreigners r not as enthusiastic on KQ. Is it due to the weak KES or why do they seem to be 'off-loading' to us.

Ecs 11.2 Give portions to seven,yes to eight,for you do not know what disaster may come upon the land.

I have no idea why they are selling. People have different reasons. Foreigners are very unsettled with the political problems. We saw what happened in 2007/8 so they do not want to be stuck with shares in a firm that could be affected by lack of tourists as well as Kes depreciation.

Thanx VVS. I remember,2 wks ago,commenting that at 17/= KQ was best priced. It's still a good buy I think.

In the USA,politics INCREASES tourism like the folks (incl Kenyans) who went to Washington DC to see Obama inaugurated. The Capitol & White House gets 1,000s of visitors/tourists & they spend money to see,stay & eat in the city. In Kenya,the politics are so scary,they SCARE away tourists.

Any reason why this share is rising so quickly

Is KQ set to fly to the US now that Delta is flying to Kenya.

That is an interesting question. I do NOT know why KQ does not fly (or plan) to the USA while Delta can fly to Nairobi. BTW,USA route is competitive (through Europe) but KQ will code-share since both are sky-team members.
