Assuming they did, and now they have to release Ali and Muthaura and Koskey for lack of evidence or evidence being too weak, dont you think they'd be opening themselves for law suits for wrongful detention? and that would be expensive... and it would set precedence. They probably knew from the word go that they did not have a strong case. At least not strong enough to be confident that it will go through.

I agree with you here. They should leave Kenya alone now. Also,until ICC actually bring cases of someone from the west, they will always fall short in my eyes.

The issue of bribing and threatening witnesses is also a LIE! If the witnesses are telling them that they have been bought by someone, then ICC should prosecute the bribe giver for interference with witnesses.

Been thinking about that as well.Why can't they take action against the 'witness'?

This case is starting to sound like Vioja Mahague
infact bensouda resembles judge lucy of vioja.

My only concern is the donors.
Matrina and ben may be under pressure to pursue in order to make their existence relevant la siyo funds be reduced and that would def affect their incomes and performance.
Damn Africa why can't they pull out of ICC and set up their own ACC.

By the way, what became of those witnesses KNHCR was housing in some posh house in Lavington (was it)?

It was when Hassan Omar was there..

This Hassan character planned the whole thing with OAR in advance - but boy, has it backfired!!

Hassan Omar did not just wake up one morning and joined OAR/ODM. They were together all along and his [Hassan's] contribution [given that he has no birrions] was to get the "right" people in the short list for Hague. Everyone after that - including Ocampo depended on that shortlist. Poor Ocampo. He didn't know he was being played - just a pawn in a chess game. His biggest mistake was not to conduct his own investigation from scratch.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

I think sang will be found guilty . Why?
1-his evidence is recorded
2-its not advisable for icc to aquit evryone to save its face
3-the rescent fallout between jubilee and sang i dont see the goverment keen on helping sang
Politics is just things to keep the people divided and foolish and put your trust in men and none of them can do nothing for you...

Oh ya, i had forgotten he fell out with Jubilee though i still think the biggest issue for him is the recording.. Unless it is said to mean anything else and not incitement. Wooi.
