@pound, like him or hate him Sonko will be the man to beat, keep your dollars. The Umoja, Buru, Zimmer crowd will vote for him. The ethnic card will be to his advantage as he is from a corded community in a jubilee party.

Ditto. Add Emba, Mathare, Mukuru....... etc

Indeed 'politricks' and aeroplane landing are the only things that block Kenyan men from thinking.. brings out their the emotional feminine side and locks clear thought process..

I gave my opinion based on MY analysis... hiring noisemakers never translates to votes.. you as emotional members of Uhuruto should know this better.. as you always castigate RAO's Kibera crowds...

So I will repeat these points and type slowly.. hoping that you guys will read s.l.o.w.l.y

1. The masses in the slam will vote partywise. read ethnically. Whichever percentages you want to look at it..
I will also remind you again.. the poor in Nairobi are not mostly Jubilee members Kibra,Chawangware, Kariopangi, Mukuru, Mathare etc.
so please take pen and paper and cancel half of the votes from the informal and low income areas of Nairobi...

Sonko is seen as Jubilee hence his ethnic bloc view as a traitor. Same way you guys were seeing Margret Wanjiru OKEY?
are we still together?

2. I'm not ruling out party politics with the middleclass. Yes some, like you fellows, will vote for him since he's jubilee and you guys wear 6 piece, 'Chupilii' juu mpaka chini.

But this is Nairobi.. middle class electorate is very well informed..They are the same people you are castigating and calling traitors for voting PK.. but their choice is based on knowledge not ethnic pride.

So in my honest opinion the Jubilee' middle class voters here will either look for the other best alternative including the lady booed at Uhuru park, the good retired Bishop, etc etc.. but never SONKO

3. By swinging on the other side of the pendulum, he has ruled out the other side of the same pendulum, the Haves..

So hata kama ni kura elfu moja pekee.. He 'ain't getting nothing' from the affluent areas and the people they influence.

Me n my friends. .....sonko pap! Very simple tribal n political math. Masufferer woote wa jubilee, Sonko. Masufferer wengi wakamba, Sonko. And since most of middo class have no idea as to who's got steel balls to take on sonko, sonko has most of them. Sonko wins, no dozing n farting in our senate, sonko kiboko yao.

Senate is reserved for Sonko. He has no serious challenger.Governor is a small battle but Kidero has an upper hand.

who are sonko's competitors - whether jokingly or seriously people out there are mentioning sonko and senator interchangeably, that maybe because of the places I travel mostly - even though he is in tna he brings out a very neutral side.
concerning yt2 (if he gets nominated) vs evans, I think it will boil down to which side will have a higher turnout - but given yt2 mobilization and knowledge of nairobi politics I would place my bet on him winning - but it will be close
