Didnt i also hear "NO RAILA, NO PEACE" after the election? Kwani he is the first person to lose an erection in Kenya?

If he believes in the rule of law, as he purports, why couldnt he have challenged the results in court as required by law?

@ Wendy.....Let's not pretend that RAO is only seeking justice for the PEV, this is all about the General elections. Like WR keeps saying RAO has no moral authority to say who should go to the Hague because as far as some of us are concerned he should also be there. Why should he call for the arrest of Uhuruto, they've not been proven guilty yet and they done everything the ICC has told them to do. The ICC has not issued any warrant of arrest, why are you calling for their arrest.

As per the latest opinion polls on Presidential candidates, UK is one of leading contenders which means a big number of KENYANS believe in him. RAO, as a Presidential candidate himself cannot call for the arrest of his rivals just because he feels they are getting sympathy votes from Kenyans. There are times when silence has the loudest voice. For once i think RAO ameshikwa na wasi wasi.

I, as a Kenyan, just want to see the process that was started followed to the end. Why? Because, if it is not in ICC (corrupt or not) it will not be anywhere else (where is the local tribunal to "try" the "small fish"? Yet, we still have people waiting for justice to be done, living in camps when some "big fish" somewhere is seating on their land. The people crying foul the most sang Hague while i did... The only difference between me and them is that i have not changed my stand since then. RAO is as Kenyan as i am, and he has a right to air his opinion about the process... the only difference between him and me is that those faced by the Hague issue are his competitors... otherwise, nothing else is different.... If it were you and me faced with the Hague, RAO, UK and WR would be on the same side calling for ICC process to take its course.... that is my stand, veteran, Member or User! I have not changed to favour anyone... if we dig back the Hague threads, even those singing "polarization calls" were for the Hague process. What has changed since? The envelop was opened and their "gods" were touched... that's all!

Granted, RAO is only thinking GE, what do you think WR and UK are thinking of? Your safety? your creation of wealth? your inflation? They are eying the same thing! The only reason some us do not see that is because we are so bent towards one side that when the other side imitates us it actually looks evil. But essentially, they are doing the same thing.

And, if RAO and Kibs are also needed to show up at the Hague, so be it. And if i am needed at the Hague, I will be there and i will not come here to wazua or elsewhere to prove my innocence and claim wazua polarization... I will prove it in court. Let everyone carry his own cross.

@ Jaluo,

Ever wonder if a Raila presidency would weaken Kenya in the sense that foreign powers would have much greater say in how this country is run?

@ Wendz....I agree with you but RAO is not an ordinary bloke, he's the PM. Every time he "airs" his opinion it will receive different reactions from Kenyans, same as MK. WR & UK have already been to the Hague and as it is now they are scheduled to stand Trial, its the court to decide whether they are guilty or not....at the moment they are innocent Kenyans. If the ICC had any problem with them it would have issued a warrant of arrest by now. Majority of us were for the Hague before but that changed with MO....hata some Kenyans who are Pro-Rao acknowledged that this guy did a shoddy job in his investigations. Btw i think people expected WR, UK, HK to be on the list so there were really no surprises there. As you said we should let the ICC take its course, no need for inflammatory remarks....i'm glad MM agrees with that. Almost all the "big fish" were for Local Tribunal, why?

For once I can see who is honest and who is not, if UK and WSR really care about the people why haven't they tried to unite Kikuyus and Kalenjins, why are the people still polarized and yet they're so inlove? William Ruto occupied land for an IDP what else do Kenyans want to see to understand that these are not the kind of people to lead the country?

@ Mc Reggae.....Link tafadhali! I think WR and UK have been barred by the ICC from making any inflammatory comments or Hate speech! RAO's issue is that the two are using prayer rallies to whip up sentiments against their prosecution at the Hague.....does that really justify why they should be arrested! He is the PM for crying out loud anything he does or says will probably make headline news, it comes with the job. Whether you and i like it or not, UK & WR have huge number of followers behind them, declaring them guilty before they are tried in a court will only make matters worse.

@ Drunkard....I'm curious, how should they unite the two communities? What kind of reconciliation are we talking about here?

Real one, I am a liberal Kalenjins so I can see beyond the idiologies and I can tell you that the love between Kikuyus and Kalenjins atleast from Kalenjin side ends where Ruto and Uhuru love stops. So if these two great leaders are really genuinely seeking peace between the communities we should have seen more prayer rallies along the borders between Kalenjins and Kikuyus, Prays in Mombasa is not going to help unit the two communities.

If both the Kalenjins and Kikuyus decide not to vote for RAO and instead support a common candidate that doesn't mean they've reconciled....IMHO i don't think there's any single Politician who can solve land issues in RV!

Does this mean that what he says is an order to ICC? Will WSR and UMK be arrested by ICC because the RAO has sais so? Make what matters worse?
