@Cde - will you believe this...

Going by the way Tullow has been mean with refusing offers from other investors for any stake or a opt-in, when this comes online it will be explosive... This would promote one to buy up the EAC investments like mad... No wonder the big banks (e.g. JP Morgan, HSBC etc) are vulturing around KE. Which also confirm the Nairobi Financial hub theme.

http://bit.ly/pe8EVm - I wonder what Soros saw here. The fund scoped by the Soros Funds has invested in Craft Silicon, Paystream, Elris Communication Services and Hillcrest International Schools... If the CMA SME small cap equity market is launched next year and any of the mentioned are listed, I'll be all in...

As an aside. Soros portfolio commitments show a huge 13% in Sierra Leone. Hmmm... http://bit.ly/ovaYci

@Cde - since I can see ya online, I hope now you are a believer smile

This is the best part of the news "Tullow Oil, which also struck oil in neighbouring Uganda, said the Kenyan find had exceeded their expectations.

"This is an excellent start to our major exploration campaign in the East African rift basins of Kenya and Ethiopia," said Angus McCoss, the company's exploration director.

He added: "To make a good oil discovery in our first well is beyond our expectations and bodes well for the material programme ahead of us."

Kudos to Hisah for calling out this play way before it was in the horizon. @mainat kudos to you for having managed to exploit leads on Wazua.
The news is now old news but I am impressed it was on Wazua years ahead ..... and it wasn't guess work!

ningependa kujua how good 'Interactive Brokers' are to trade online or if there is a specific broker you would recommend, specifically one who doesnt require a minimum of $10k to open an account

Look out for disruptive industry paradigm changers e.g. green energy and medicine. Many surprises coming up.
