We can now sleep through the weekend fixtures where Arsenal entertain Fulham (is that a derby?), Man-u visit wolves (once a upon a time they were wolves but now are sheep) and the one not to sleep - chelsea welcome liverpool (andy carrol vs torres?...andy carrol to score first?.

However, the game...the real game will be on 12th February 2011 when the noisy neighbours will come to park their bus at Old Trafford. I Cant wait!

During his hey days Neville was up there with the rest...towards the twilight years "Bedford" was a red card and/or penalty waiting to happen. He has served us well.

Fergie's 1st business of the day in the summer is to buy a well established right back so that we have cover for Rafael who will assume with mantle with verve - O'shea is a jumbling mess as evidenced in the Villa game. He should also give more game time to Fabio e.g. when a game is comfortable or when playing weak opposition in the FA cup.

If our defense remains fit, I believe that is what will win Man Utd the title it would /should have won last season had Vidic and Rio not missed as many games as they did.

The Kop look like they'll not miss Torres after all with Suarez scoring on his debut but the real test will be at the Bridge, a game I'll be happy to see Chelsea draw and be 12 points adrift if we win.

I dare say that the two games Man Utd play against Chelsea could determine if Arsenal are right up there at the end, seeing as they're only 5 points adrift. It was nice to see City drop points yesterday.

I think Chelsea will pip Spurs to the 4th place, perhaps even dislodge Man City.

As things stand, this is how I think it might end:

1. Man Utd - My bias is obvious
2. Arsenal - beat them by 2 points
3. Chelsea - A point adrift of Arsenal
4. Man City - One point adrift or goal difference
5. Spurs/Liverpool - Yes, I think a resurgent Liverpool will upset a stretched Spurs, but if they exit CL early,it's all to play for.

My assumptions are based on pedigree and not the remaining fixtures

Sir Ryan is like a fine wine, getting better with age...his performances in the Blackpool and Villa games belied his age, Scholes was similarly exceptional at the beginning of the season till the injury...it is amazing that there's actually been no pressing need to get a new signing in the Jan window
