When I hit 18 like this - I looked for an ID , it took too long so I could not register to vote in 1997 - I felt cheated! everyone around me was voting and I was at home watching the TV. In 1998 my card came and you can be sure as soon as the voter registration execise begun in 2002 - I registered and when voting came I cast my vote. In 2005, I did not cast my vote 'coz i was at KICC' doing election work for the referendum - I felt cheated by my work.. I swore to register myself where I worked coz voting is very important to me. so mtu kama mimi sina heshima yoyote kwa mtu ambaye HAJALI mahali nchi yetu inaenda.. no respect at all! All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

I respect those people who cast their vote for chibule wa tsuma, Mukaru nganga , Baba ya KJ and all other minnows but not people who don't give a rat's behind about the direction Kenya is heading! We criticize akina ruto for voting 'NO' on the constitution - what should we be doing to those fellows who did not even register to vote 'YES or NO'? the reason I say this is that wengine wetu anytime there is such an exercise - we take time off work, queue then get enfranchised. we verify our details and then on election day we wake up early in the morning to go queue to vote. While its everyone's right to decide if they are going to take part in the political process - THAT RIGHT DOES NOT MEAN WE SHALL CONSIDER YOU ONE OF US! Kethi for all intents and purposes looks like a spoiled child who does not care at all! Watu wa Makueni right now are edgy about the fate of someone ("mtu wao") who evidently does not think of herself as "one of them"... SAD! SAD! SAD! You nailed it! Kunyua Afia-mango mbili on my account. Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

Watu wa Makueni right now are edgy about the fate of someone ("mtu wao") who evidently does not think of herself as "one of them"... SAD! SAD! SAD! This is very true! So true. I was not in the country at the time of registration, and i could not get how a historic election could take place without me participating! In the end it worked out well, and I did on the last day of registration. So i find it hard to believe a daughter of a politician, someone who extensively quotes the katiba, someone who put up a fight in the supreme court ( like she knew what it means to queue and vote) actually never cared to register, neither did she queue, nor did she care about all those virtue and values she was expousing in the court- and even now she does not care;just looking for a way to use the corrupt system. And now from the blue, she has the interested of people of Makueni at heart;and of course there are people both in Nairobi and Makueni and all over the country, foaming in the mouth and sweating that she is being targeted.Amazing! I am happy

For me it is simple, if KETHI is allowed to contest in Makuani, then there is no need for registration, confirmation and voting and IEBC would have shot itself in the foot. you cannot have people running around looking for registration centres on the last day and then we have joy riders enjoying the benefits of a weak system. NEVER EVER. I expect a fraud case as a follow up to deter such behaviours in future. Rule of law MUST be followed to the later regardless of which side of the divide we are in. Omutata akwende huko na sideshows. #CANTWAITFORTHERULING. Thieves

All of us here are so passionate about our political outlook... MacDoba leading the CORD team, arguably Njunge or Mukiha leading Njumbirii and the rest of us the smaller parties. we jostle on this forum (some of us are even 'usered' coz of unpalatable remarks). we go out and participate in the process and comment about it. MacDoba , sasa Imagine if it came to light that Mukiha has never ever registered not does not care and keeps on arguing with you - would you really care what he talks about? Njunge - the same. If MacDoba is toothpicking halfu u gundua the guy has never ever voted - utasikia aje? Wasted? I think so! Coz you have been arguing with someone who is utterly useless. This is what all of us in unison should do - REFUSE TO ASSOCIATE WITH PEOPLE WHO DON'T CARE ABOUT THE FUTURE OF OUR COUNTRY. What do you think was going through her head as TVs showed long queues? she must have been thinking Quote:Ona hawa wajinga? Hawana kazi ya kufanya? All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!
