I am wondering whether I should still support them now that my Muslim buddies are telling me that we they're dedicating this match to all Muslims

Cocacola are saying Africa supports Africa so you should. Plus its a formidable team. By the way are the players fasting? Where would they get all this energy without food? I am not sure football is one of the issues allowed for anyone to forego the fast. But @Alph can explain.

Its been left at individual level, e.g. Magjid Boughera is fasting, Ozil isn't, the others, ....personal decisions. Maybe they can look at it from the war perspective, maybe.

according to the muslim brothers wenye tuko nao hapa, Algeria is fully fasting team

But they're telling me Mesut hajafunga. siyui wameyuaye

I've not seen so emotional about another team

lakini ni majamaa wapoa

shida ni kila mara they see a muslim in any macth, they have to tell me "Benzema is a Muslim, Ozil is a Muslim...." aarrggghhhh

So far I have been impressed by 3 keepers; Ochoa the Mexican, the Costa Rican & this Algerian.

I doubt all Algerians are fasting. Many of these guys are actually French and do not practise. Remember Zidane once said he only fast sometimes to please his father but he does not do it regulalarly.
