Meanwhile KQ staff have for the first time ever accepted a pay reduction!!!

What about the Finance Director? Extrapolation from accounts suggest that he and CEO rake in ksh 6M a month.

1) Sunil Shah bought at the bottom when KCB was shedding GoK's majority ownership. Is GoK going to decrease its ownership further?
2) SS became a director and forced/pushed for change. Is there such a director with a significant stake in KQ?

In KQ the government might increase its shareholding to rescue the airline.
For KCB there was a lot of government support in terms of business after NARC government came in and that is why it was able to rise from the dust.
The day government will direct that all its employees on overseas trips use KQ and KQ starts improving in its customer service the great rise will begin

US gvt has a specific law called "Fly American Act". The law states that if you are using federal funds in air travel, you have to fly on American Airlines and on Economy class of course!. Its the high time we did the same here.

Main difference is that while KQ is full of dudes, Emirates only has dudettes..

That is a valid observation. Men go to Africa Alliance brokers just to 'transact' coz of the personnel

You mean US airlines not American Airlines smile
And GoK should fly on KQ where/when possible but at fares that are comparable or cheaper than other airlines. GoK should negotiate 'best' fares with KQ.
And as you say... on ECONOMY CLASS...

Who is your broker?

African Alliance standards workwise and otherwise went down long time ago. Even considering switching perhaps to SIB or Kestrel.
