Fellow Kenyans/Wazuans,greetings to you all.

COVID has taught us that we can do without politicians(ok maybe partially). Why not use this COVID given opportunity to stamp that. For example by ignoring all politics coming in at this time.Ignore this thread till after we are declared COVID free.

Based on this lessons let us start discussing the Kenya we want at that point.

Do we need 18 MPs in Nairobi? Can we reduce them to 5 by dividing the city into East,West,North,South and Central.Do we need over 200 MCAs,can we have 10MCAs in each constituency to support their MP.

Do we need 47 Governors, can we resort to our 8 old provinces as counties

.Then all the monies saved from the reduced seats will be used to improve public health care and education. We should never be caught up in a situation like this one on COVID again where we are on panic mode worried that if the numbers rise we have no hospitals. Our congested public schools can be improved and more of them built.
I believe the people of this great republik can drive change.

When the next COVID strikes,100 years from now let our great grand children find a better prepared Kenya.

This is laughable. Has corona suspended the current constitution? Have the general's declared a military coup?
Has the president declared that we are under martial law?
If the answer to all three questions is No. Then politiking has to continue.
I see you are talking of change. Change comes if the leaders /politicians we ellect change or decide to make the changes. Which means the driver of change is the people. To drive change you don't gag the people. People have to talk, so that they can make the right decision in choosing the right leaders.
I once heard on JKL someone say

"we have to keep on talking because once we stop talking we start to fight"

Politics is just things to keep the people divided and foolish and put your trust in men and none of them can do nothing for you...

As the original author of this piece, I feel the need to make an update considering a lot has happened since I originally wrote this piece.

The prediction for Ruto is worst than when I wrote this piece, right now the path to Ruto presidency is close to 0.

By trying to fight with his Boss, Uhuru Kenyatta, my prediction today is Ruto will not be on the ballot come 2022, Ruto will not get clearance for presidency.

Ruto has been too careless with his involvement in questionable deeds and is too arrogant to realize that Uhuru Kenyatta could have him convicted anytime he wants.

My prediction stands: Ruto will not be president come 2022

As the author of this piece. Instead of using the word fight. Can you be precise on where the actual fighting tool place and what caused the fight?
Has thare been a direct exchange of political fire between them if yes can we see videos or links or eye witness accounts.
how comes the politicians using and fanning this fighting remark are from ODM?
Let me elighten you in a very small but very important fact . The people from the mountain regions are very sensitive if tomorrow they woke up to find ruto actually and without a doubt that he is fighting our president. Raila wouldn't need BBI as a fighting tool anymore.
So far all is well our deputy president has stuck to his words. Mtu wa mkono wa rais. we the kikuyus will never forget that without him uhuru will not be president today. We all owe him. We have to pay that dept. Dawa ya deni ni kulipa.

You should also never forget that without UK, WR would not be No 2 and enjoying his jubilee nusu mkate. He got 50% despite being the junior partner. Even in counties governors never share 50/50 with their deputies. So with the TNA/URP 50/50 arrangement, there is no outstanding debt. Also any debts if any were paid by Christ at Calvary.

That's where you are mistaken. Jubilee is a single party with one president holding the whole loaf of bread. WSR has told us in so many occasions that the president doesn't need to consult on anything. We also don't need to be told because we have also seen it play out.
Jubilee is a single party it's only after the creation of BBI that some disgruntled ellection loosers in jubilee zones joined forces with ODM to discredit the deputy president.

“If Uhuru wants to form a coalition with Raila, they can do without all this drama and humiliation of the DP and his allies.

He said were it not for Ruto who campaigned vigorously for Jubilee Party across the country, Uhuru would not be the President.

We have known all along that your final motive is to discredit uhurus government while acting to fight ruto.
Serikali ya jubilee iko imara. Tutapambana n.a. nyinyi untill 2069 if you would not have thrown in the towel by then. But luckily there is still time to join us and support ruto as we wait to see his choice for a deputy president. It's time to enter the winning team.

Deep State has said no to Ruto. He should retire and enjoy farming.

I see mr Sam omwenga has become the official deep state spokesman.
Though I have not read his compositions he is doing a good job in mentaining the blood pressure of some of us here by spreading false hope.
Politics is just things to keep the people divided and foolish and put your trust in men and none of them can do nothing for you...

Oh This Is Getting To Be Fun.

One day, if this goes on, we might get to learn the "real" version of "The Hague" Memoirs.

In the meantime, This Is Getting To Be Fun.

Quote:
Away from public limelight, and stung by the realisation that those fighting him in the party are no pushovers, the DP on Friday summoned a clique of his politburo for a brainstorming session to chart the way forward.

They agreed on a number of action plans, including:

filing a suit in court to block the changes,

painting the other faction as corrupt and power-hungry,

moving in to secure Jubilee Party at all costs,

and increasing defiance by members of the Tanga Tanga group, who plan to take on President Kenyatta more viciously and,

as in the case of the 2017 tender leaks, directly.

The attacks on the president are not only meant to guilt-trip him by portraying him as a man who cannot keep his word on the promise to support Dr Ruto’s presidential bid, but also dig into the implication such “betrayal” portends to his community in future alliance-making, or what some politicians have christened “selling fear”.

To counter Dr Ruto’s open isolation from the running of government, bloggers who operate from his office have been hard on the government, poking holes in the report from the Ministry of Health on coronavirus expenditure and drawing parallels between Uhuru’s State House and the DP’s Karen office — that whereas one gave a provision for a bar, the other set up an altar for worship.

There is also heavy investment in propaganda warfare largely meant to make the government, rightly or wrongly, look corrupt and out of touch with the plight of the people.
