the IEBC conducted 6 elections pretty well for a commission that had not conducted an election before. this is the mentality that has kept kenyan football at the same level - oh change coach...oh change coach!

FYI: Sorry to burst your bubble - The IEBC cannot be disbanded! its like the Judiciary - fixed term. you simply need a tribunal kick out the commissioners but there is nothing in law to remove the secretariat. if you have issues then take them to court the concerned person will bear individual responsibility.

This is where the problem started...U call them enemies, they vow to finish you. I said earlier Kethi looked so innocent on that day she was unveiled by CORD as a candidate. Now see what politics has done to her! Where is Oraro when she needed him most? Na hawa akina RAO, Muthama, SKM and the rest are not even accompanying her to the tribunal at least for a moral boost?

I never knew that voter registration, a very simple and straight forward undertaking could cause so much drama. That is until Kethi came onto the scene. I remember going to the centre to register as a voter. It took just 5mins to be registered. On voting day I just walked to the centre placed my thumb on the BVR kit and all my details appeared. Then they crossed my name on the manual register, I was issued with 6 ballots, I voted and that was it. I never knew that such a simple process could turn into the quagmire we are witnessing today. Very Sad!!!

Hii ni nye nye nye. Kethi registered fraudulently- from what played out in the tribunal in the last two days. For someone of her standing,and after trying to take a moral high ground during the petition,this is abhorrent,to say the least

It's not about using your goggles man.....it's about what I expect of the IEBC.....Incompetent!!!!


@MC,you expect them to be competent or incompetent? Na sasa huyu mwanadada,you do not think she should have used her brain to say no to fraud?

IEBC is not God,it is run by people,people from both sides( main) of political sycophancy.So definitely,you do not expect them to be infallible or incorruptible.I think to vilify the whole of IEBC for this is wearing goggles.

Remember Supreme Court Judge Smokin Wanjala set the PARAMETERS of the petition. the question then was "DID THE 1ST AND 2ND RESPONDENTS MAKE AN ERROR IN ANNOUNCING THE 3RD AND 4TH RESPONDENTS AS WINNERS OF THE LAST ELECTION" in this case "DID KETHI REGISTER TO VOTE?"


The question is no longer whether she is a registered voter or not. She is in deed a registered voter. The question is now whether her registration is valid or not!!!!
