Thanks. Let us wait for the additional shares to be traded. Since most of the rights were taken up by institutional investors, I doubt if we will see any price depreciation.

Wow... far higher than I expected... I expect to see lots of large 'foreign' shareholders...

Good for KCB but I expect lots of Sellers as well... I have better places/shares to invest my money in...

For KCB the would be sellers already sold when the bank announced issuance of rights and subsequent pricing. Most of the buyers for the rights were institutional investors and I believe they have no intention of selling now. I doubt if KCB will trade below 19, if it does, it will be temporary

None of the other banks are standing still... especially not Equity Bank which has captured the 'low end' of the market...

Then the 'high end or Corporates' are catered for by Barclays, SCBK, Citibank, etc...

And the middle market has NIC, I&M, DTBK, Prime...

So can KCB compete in all 3 segments?

Sad

Interesting projection. You may be correct on KQ and Equity (over heated). The rest I doubt. KCB will not drop to 18.5, retail investors like are waiting for it!

Granted Eqty and DTBK are present regionally albeit to a lesser extent in terms of spread, but do they have similar financial muscle?? e.g If DTBK lost 2B triton style, wouldn't it wind up????

KQ ABP 4.26

Weekly predictions are no relevance to me. Its not like i will jump in and out of a stock in a week.
