Well, I think the KQ stock is bound to be on the upward. EBB and Dar being seen as domestic flights-not easy. Actually not likely given the half stepping on the part of Kenya's neighbours save for Rwanda. But the regional expansion strategy is quite ambitios and appealing especially for intercontinental travelers (multi-nationals etc) who want seamless intra-african connection on a reliable (read Safe to fly) airline. The long haul business looks good given that the dreamliner may be ready for scheduled flights before end 2011, although the final 787 may be less economical than what KQ knew whan they placed their initial orders.

It is very likely that the referndum will be uneventful and the result will be favorable to business. It is likely for KQ to return to the 3 digits before the turn of 2011.

@youcan'tstopusnow

Thanks for your observations. This means Ethiopian Airline will continue leading us? I expected the KQs venture to US to uplift the share back to its 100s!

KQ has good potential only worry is delays and flight cancellations on non technical reasons. If they work around this, profits will overflow

This rise must be due to the info passed that flight hours increased by 22% in the world cup month..
