The Kenya Shilling has lost more than 18% against the dollar, so any foreigner in bonds has lost value despite the 16% plus coupon rates.

I saw this quote somewhere and quite true about NSE companies. Most are evolving to bureaucratic messes including the once nimble safcom.

For Safaricom, Ethiopia will take time to bring positive contribution to the profits & Ndegwa still doesn't inspire 3+ years down the line.
