Not possible. The only people who will be willing to fight for baba are the lakeside people only. I cannot see how Lunjes and Kaos can take to the streets for baba. There's also no way baba can win the elections with his current alliance. Since he can never join up with the kyuks then his best option would be the Kales. The last time he joined up with the Kales, he won. This time the tyranny is not in his favor and the best he can hope for is a nusu mkate government.
But to be honest, I wish baba could be president for a term so his people can see that it's nothing special and their expectations will not be met. The kyuks vote in people to maintain status quo not for development, they also reject people who would change that. If baba really wanted to improve the lives of his people, he could have done it when he was a minister, his father VP or when he was a PM.
The best he can do is groom someone from his region who can cut across. Similarly, the Lunjes should look for someone who's not from the KANU error like Sakaja. I think the politics of the future for Kenya will be entrusting the presidency to people who are not perceived as threatening and that's why people seem to prefer Uhuru to Ruto. Ruto is taken with a pinch of salt in all communities including his.
BBI will solve it :)
