Well written. However, note the failure in 2007/8 started before voting day and was not really a PEV as stated. IT STARTED this way:- To propagate the said "stuffing" in nyanza THE NIGHT BEFORE elections, LIES were spread that electoral GSU officials in some buses were rigging the election. This lies were also propagated on SK and some T.V stations provided "footage" of this LIE. This led to the MURDER of security officials of carefully "selected" gema soldiers, this was before the kiviutu saga, even before the voting, the tallying issues and so on. Officials were BEING KILLED BEFORE even the elections started for "rigging". What kind of "voice" is this? What kind of a savage election is this? A Kenyans freedom to vote where they please is the sign of a clean elections, not claims of "stolen" ballots, kama munaua watu and people have to "migrate" before an elections, that is a "junkish" democracy and true as you put it, one can blame the voters themselves! And they should accept the declaration of their electoral officials, otherwise it is wanjiku to die, for the tenders they ate e.t.c, just accept the outcome! The Chairman of the USA Federal reserve will tell you they print the dollar as a matter of trust and confidence. If we have a tribal party that NEVER has trust in our electoral mechanisms and we need to change the same year in year out at wanjikus expense! IF we cannot get candidates to TRUST Kenyans with their job, we have to CANDIDLY state the fact that the BULK of our election problems result from MISTRUST and LIES propagated by candidate, who are the only ones who benefit when Kenyans die and there is chaos! I was in the country when ODM raised issues claiming the official progressive count form was the legitimate final form and people listened to them. this place burnt! i have always insisted that Kibaki won the election (tafuteni hapa wazua) but Raila won the noise making and changed the perception game. in elections... PERCEPTIONS ARE KEY! thus addressing perceived issues of credibility within polling stations will do more good than harm. All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

C&P President Uhuru Kenyatta will, beginning tomorrow, embark on a countrywide tour aimed at urging Kenyans to turn out in large numbers for voter registration. The President will kick-off his tours with visits to Muranga, Nyeri, Meru, Laikipia and Kirinyaga counties this week. On Thursday, the President will be in Muranga County. He is scheduled to start at Blue Post and then head to Jogoo Kimakia, Gatunyu, Gatanga Junction, Gacharage, Kangari, Kigumo, Kirere, Muthithi, Kaharati, Maragua and Muranga towns, Kahuhia, Kangema and Kiria-ini. On Friday, the President will be in Nyeri County, and is expected to visit Kiamariga, Kaburuini, Kawarigi, Karatina, Ichamara, Kiandu, Nyeri Town, King’ong’o, Kiganjo and Chaka. On Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, the President will tour Meru, Laikipia and Kirinyaga counties respectively. Embu Wednesday. Mombasa and Nakuru and many more counties are lined up as the next areas the President will visit to urge Kenyans to register to vote. Details of the visits will be announced at a later date. His Excellency the President desires to see the largest number of Kenyans exercise their democratic right to register as voters, and importantly cast their ballots in August. Consistency is better than intensity
