I enjoyed watching Kendra Harrison break the women's 100m hurdles world record last night. It was one of those suspect ones set by east European runners in the 80s.Too bad she did not make the US team for the olympics.

Usain Bolt supports the ban on Russia

The sport of athletics has quickly become a joke to most casual fans. Bolt is one of the last few legit hopes. If Bolt is ever busted for doping, the sport may be finished. However I lean towards thinking Bolt is legit.

Quote:

Some critics have raised questions about Müller-Wohlfahrt, who uses unconventional techniques such as injecting calves’ blood, honey and extracts from crests of cockerels into his patients, but Bolt insisted the doctor made a huge difference to extending his career.

“I’ve been going there for years,” he said. “I have a really bad back problem and every year it gets worse. He’s the only person I’ve been to over the years that has figured out a way to make sure my back is OK and I can compete and I can stay on track.”

...
“I got tested this morning. The IAAF test me all the time, the World Anti-Doping Agency test me, everybody tests me. I have all the trust in my doctor and I support him 100%.”

hata that yellow jersey owner passed those tests, if being injected with contents from crests of cockerels is not doping then sijui smile

For some reason this pic was not appearing in my browser earlier.
I see now that Masukuma is a big fan of tribal voting and as someone pointed out, he has a habit of hijacking threads with irrelevant nonsense just for the sake of being contrarian.

If calves blood is not on the list of banned substances then Bolt can use it.

These track athletes gulp and swallow almost a dozen supplements and stimulants every day. If you ever went to their house you would be appalled at the number of bottles of substances they have.
So long as they are not on the list of banned substances its fine.
If someone thinks calves blood is doping then they should petition to have it added to the list of banned substances.

no way, the russian thing was just politics getting into sports, the Jamaicans, american, Britons have had their top athletes fail drugs tests, from the leaked wada doc, the guys in the west know how to hepa the testing guys by locking themselves in bathrooms, or just TUE'ing the system.

All athletes dope in one way or another, most dope in training. It's just about who gets caught today and who gets away. If all students in your school are cheating, why should you be the one to take a bad report form to your parents?

Anyway, I think we should have unofficial olympics where athletes are allowed to dope so we can experience the full athletic capability of a human being. Ama?

BBI will solve it

I think it has been mentioned before, but we can never have a level playing field, I mean you can not compare the preparation and resources available to say mo farah and the Ethiopians or Kenyans, but the prize money comes from the west, and thus they are the ones who come up with their idea of a level field, of course favoring their people, which is understandable.
