@Simon,
Believe me.This day will pass just like any other.

Burying your heads deeper in the sand!

I foresee a call for mass "peaceful" protests and then a call for an early election!

I wish to believe you but trust me,i can see something that would give you a big O from a 100kms.Why not call his Mpigs,senators and governors and have them resign enmasse and then force an election??...That's easier than "mass nonsense"
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

the big man would rather go down with the entire country. it will not happen. The Kaos have led the way to say No! Some Mombasa residents are also not happy. At the end of the day, the man will be alone with his few troops.

We, patriotic Kenyans, are increasingly getting fed up with this sore loser, who is always blaming the presiding ref for his below-par performance in elections. If the govt doesn't reign on him, we, the patriots, may be forced to take the law into our hands and carry out a citizens arrest and ship him back to Boston so that we can enjoy the peace we were having when he was away in the US. For how long will we allow him to disrupt our peaceful lives. We voted just the other day and rejected him and he should shut up until the next campaign period in 2017.

The very act of declaring 7/7 a public holiday is in itself a treasonable act. And as per the katiba treason is punished by 'death by hanging'. He should know that it's only the head of state, Rais Ouru Onyatta, who is constitutionally mandated to make such a proclamation.

I have de-politicised myself so much that I don't check most political threads. Untill... I saw today's nation headline. From far, my initial reaction to the hullabaloo that followed Raila's coming back was that RAO is a sharp politician or has a great panel of advisors. Coz he went to the states broken, a mere retiree facing internal party and even home base rebellion and came back a hero. It is clear now that this is well planned to go the way of Egypt and other places that owe their instability to mass action nonsense.the guy sees no hope in winning an open contest election and has resulted to this. POWER BY ANY MEANS

Lolest why are you bursting my bubble?smile
War never solved anything, but they want it. War will not discriminate, horrors will be visited on Kenyans, male, female, newborn, old, fat, thin...... it will ruin the economy, and our REPUTATION! The same man and his lieutenants led us down the exact same path in 2007 and we all know what hit the fan.

But we must stay ready all the same, don't be a sitting duck when they come calling!

Of course you are right, but you gotta realize we are living in not so ordinary times. Don't run away from reality. Leaders are busy dividing the country and preaching violence, allow me to call their bluff.
