Leading regions and counties are: Lower Eastern (Machakos, Makueni and Kitui)=1799, North Rift (U/Gishu, E/Marakwet, Nandi, Tranzoia, Turkana and W/Pokot)=1112, Central Nyanza (H/Bay, Kisumu, Siaya)=1559 and Upper Western (Bungoma and Busia)=1043.
