I started off with Waititu in the TNA nominations before dumping him and joining Evans Kidero whom I support to date as my governor!!!!!!

Really? When was this? I recall you were rabid about Waititu, saying you will only vote 6 piece.

Look for the It is decided thread!!!!!!

The good Governor of Nairobi doing good so far. I did not vote in Nairobi but my 'moral support' was on YT2. I must now 'withdraw and apologize' for those jubilated emotions I may have had and indeed say...Kidero may have been the right person for the job after all.

What came out of the public participation county forum:

*Nairobi County Govt will have ten depts

*Nairobi has about 600K plots and land rates will be an important source of internal revenue
*Nairobi has a debt of 33.9 Billion shillings and in turn is owed 51.3 billion shillings
*Nairobi County has about 12K employees taking up about 30% of the recurrent budget
*The County will buy 50 garbage trucks to be able to collect at least 50% of the solid waste in Nairobi
*The County will allocate 200M shillings for bursaries for needy bright students
*Pumwani Maternity will get 600M to expand and rehabillitate the facility
*The City Mortuary will get 300M shillings to rehabillitate the facility
*20 of the 69 public health facilities in Nairobi County will also be rehabilitated
*Public works(roads and drainage) will get Kes 4.3 billion shillings

*The County will start the seperate refuse bin system to help in re-cycling

so far like his cabinet qualificationswise (if such a word exists :) ) apart from Gakuo, I am not familiar with the rest and how their performance would be rated, only time will tell. great Job Kidero.

Good job so far Dr. Kidero. At this rate, it's only a matter of time before Nairobi is totally transformed for the better!

I know there are people waiting and even hoping that Dr. Kidero fails. I can't help but wonder how myopic people can be!! Someone is working hard to make YOUR life better and you are hoping he will fail??? Even a 5 year old would know better!!!

Muachane na governor wetu afanye kazi tafadhali. Akiteleza tutamkosoa lakini musimwagie maji barabarani!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

They have the academic qualifications but most of them lack the relevant academic and experience in the portfolios allocated to them.
