WSR's dodgy past potrays a man who'll stop at nothing to get what he wants. However his antics will end at DP, going for main seat attracts intense scrutiny unlike being a kingmaker. The guy has risen by painting others in bad light, his star shone brighter when he chose to take on RAO and people in certain quaters saw him as their best bet to stopping a RO presidency.

Ati Upper Eastern is insignificant? Think again! That's part is of GEMA.

hese are the facts - 1992 they voted their own - 1997 they voted their own - 2002 they voted their own in support of all tribes i.e. Kales and Luos - 2007 they voted their own, they refused to return favour to Luos. Luos went with Kales. - 2013 they voted their own, they refused to return favour to Luos. Kales disowned the Luos.
Now this is what we have: - Kyuks vote only their own - Luos can never trust Kyuk (remember what happened in 2007 and now 2013?) - Luos can never vote Kales (remember what just happened in 2013?)
Fast forward to 2022? - Ruto will expect Kyuks to return favour - But you know what? Kyuks always vote their own and PK will be mtu-wa-nyumba
What will happen in 2022? - Kyuks will be on their own - Kales cannot go back to Luos - Kyuks cannot go back to Luos
So someone from minority tribe will stand - either Somali or Maasai (most likely a Somali) - Kales will support this person - Luos having no other kingpin will support this person - The rest of the country knowing how Kyuks behave will retaliate and support this person
41 against 1 will happen!!!
Check mate!!!
@alphadoti; Unfortunate but indeed true...Someone needs to do some introsptect.

I wonder why we are so inclined to place such retrogressive ideas on our political life. For example, why ten years? Why not now?
I'd highly appreciate to hear how Ruto will fashion Kenya's political thinking now.
I am sure their age mates in Europe are trying to live some idea.
What is he going to do with his power?
When it comes to this question the Wazuan seer scrambles for the very same ideas he wishes to discard.

Peter Kenneth has never been and will never be the "KIKUYU" candidate! And as much as the Luos are losing the chance of ever having another tribal leader the same fate lies with the kikuyu after Kamwana retires! So if UMK does leave a strong legacy & stands behind WSR in 2022 expect a landslide victory!! Mark 12:29 Deuteronomy 4:16

As long as you continue to believe kyuks will always vote for their own, you'll hate them. And as long as you look at historical facts from a biased point of view, it is you who'll be growing into a tribalist. Did someone say 41 against 1? Many may be intelligent, but wisdom hasn't made them its abode. Right now, you predict a fallout between UK and WSR using facts (RAO/EMK MOU)that had nothing to do with either. Have they ever fallen out before? You predict 2018 and yet the President-elect hasn't been sworn in. Healing the rift between tribes doesn't begin with our leaders, it begins with us. And as long as you can never see that, as long as you can't kick out that us-against-them mentality, you'll never see a different Kenya and you'll always be bitter when things (read leadership) don't go your way. Luck is when Preparation meets Opportunity. ~ Lucius Annaeus Seneca
