@Mc ...explain to me how she can legally overcome the 'must be a graduate requirement',..the commission of higher education has rejected her degrees cause of lack of accreditation by US education governing bodies. Even if she gets elected or nominated she will be hauled to court and be un-installed as governor. She is finished me thinks,...lack of a degree is a real weakness which her political foes will exploit very effectively ...she should lay low for 5 years and use the time to read up and get a degree with one of our local universities, then resume a political career. This media war she is engaging will not help her come March 4.

Nyandarua county seems not to have a strong candidate our blue eyed boy Kimunya has tarnished his name beyond repair, his ignorance know no bounds,he is quoted as to saying he is not interested in village politics(ngafananishif) hence his interest in remaining an Mpig. The other sober Guy is Engineer Muriuki Karue he has opted for senatorial. That leaves the likes of Waithaka (Elites school ) David Ngugi current Kinangop Mp Waithaka Mwangi former Kinangop Mp and some other fellows I have only heard during this elections(you are left wondering if they live in a hole )Jeremiah Kioni is busy ensuring Madvd loses gracefully. I humbly request Guka to mount a campaign with his bunjoti with posters all over and see if we can help our potato county.

Even from Um qasr, i know kionjuri wont have it easy in Laikipia county. Joshua Irungu on TNA will most likely beat him.

Or he's fallen out with the king, maybe the king is pushing someone else for the position he wants to vie for. Btw which elective post is the king's sister vying for?

BBI will solve it

Hapana.

Oburu itakuwa ngumu ashinde, the ground is very hostile to him, Oduol should floor him!!!

Kisumu, Ruth might just win it....there are no strong candidates!!!!

How about Jack Ranguma and Owino Omolo?

Ranguma inasemekana amefunga purse sana, but he is also a probability, What I am saying is that the ground not hostile for Ruth as it is for Oburu in Siaya!!!

@Mc, leo on citizen asubuhi...the other lady (I forget her name), really left an impression!! Owino Omolo is equal to the task...
I didn't hear much from the Odinga lady...seems like we have one Odinga, the rest of the Odinga's need to step aside....

THE GROUND. Do people visit or even call their shags? Lee can only sniff a chance if he is rigged in during nominations.

Mbugua somewhat modernized the AP, he appears to have a hidden talent, that of a good manager. I wouldn't mind the guy.

Was chatting up watu wa mashinani huko eastlands as i was getting my car fixed.

The CORD candidate will be Kidero (unless Wanjiru is rigged in). Now can Itina give us Mbaru or Gakuo so we can atleast have a contest between competent managers.

All these candidates leave some questions unanswered.Assuming the Nairobi governor will earn an after tax salary of 1.2m a month that works to 72m for 60 months. How do they intend to recover their campaign money or are they just charitable? They may be forced to cut deals with contractors, suppliers etc to recover their money.IMO,the reason why senate seats are not hot is that there is no opportunity to eat well. These governor aspirants like Kidero left a lucrative job to come settle Nairobi's problems?I don't think so.

How Kidero lost the seat. ......this will be fodder for gema n tna.

Starehe MP and Nairobi
governor hopeful Margaret
Wanjiru on Sunday demanded
an apology from former
Makadara MP Reuben Ndolo
after the two differed in the
presence of Prime Minister
Raila Odinga. Ndolo was
addressing the PM's rally in
Kibera.
Ndolos attempts to calm a
section of the crowd who
were rowdy sparked outrage
from Margaret Wanjiru and
the discord in the Cord
coalition came out open.
“Nyinyi vijana wa Bishop
Margaret Wanjiru nyamazeni!
(you youth supporters of
Bishop Margaret Wanjiru keep
quiet),” Ndolo told the crowd
amid protest and anger from
the Starehe MP.
“Eti nini? Wao sio wangu
(What are you saying? They
are not mine)," said Wanjiru.
"Ndolo usinileteee. (Ndolo
don’t joke with me),” Wanjiru
told Ndolo and nearly cut him
short in his speech.
Despite attempts from the
crowd to shout down Ndolo
and force him to apologise to
Wanjiru, Prime minister Raila
Odinga ignored the calls and
asked Ndolo to go on with his
speech.
But this did not deter an
angry Wanjiru from pointing a
finger at Ndolo and saying
that Ndolo had disrespected
her. Ndolo went on with his
speech as Wanjiru kept on
pointing a finger at him.
The former Makadara MP,
mayor George Aladwa and
Sports minister Ababu
Namwamba who were
present, are supporters of
Evans Kidero, who wants to
clinch the governorship on an
ODM ticket.
During the rally there were
several sideshows pitting
supporters of Evans Kidero
and Margaret Wanjiru as they
jostled in outdoing each other
on the podium.
Mayor Aladwa said Nairobi
needs a governor who is loyal
to Prime Minister Raila
Odinga and that Kidero was
loyal. However, in a counter
attack, Wanjiru said she has
been loyal to Odinga since the
times of LDP, ODM Kenya
and now ODM.
“If its loyalty, I am the most
loyal to the Prime Minister
Raila Odinga. I deserve to be
the Nairobi governor,” Wanjiru
told the crowd.
As she ended her speech,
Ababu Namwamba and
Aladwa whispered to each
other and Aladwa allegedly
told Ababu that he should go
and downplay what Wanjiru
had said.
He allegedly said Wanjiru
seemed to have scored highly
by dismissing their claims that
she is not loyal to Raila. But
Ababu did not speak anything
about the issue again.
