Thank you @Tycho, the reason i asked is that i can do 10kms comfortably in sub 45 mins but i can't jump rope continuously for more than 10 mins without taking breaks of around 60 secs.Hence my thinking was if i can skip continuously for 45 mins without a break;then i can do a marathon or a mini marathon in sub 4.5hrs or sub 2hrs respectively

A lot of running...moderate strength training.

I am already registered for 21km. Maintaining a training schedule is the problem.
@Theu have you done previous ones? i get that the terrain is too steepSad

Have never done half marathon but in my estimation it should be sub 2hrs

That's should work, combine running or cardiovascular exercises with core training such as dead weights and squats. Vary the speeds, weights and reps for each.

Skipping is also effective and don't forget to eat fish efficiently coz you will burn fat and keep your wife happy and safe from the likes of jguru, impunity and magigi
