TAZ wrote:@ Smano....I agree there's a possibility more points will be dropped against the small teams but you cannot compare that to dropping points against your main rivals. I'm sure Chelsea felt some sort of relief when the heard Man City had also dropped points. I've looked at how the fixtures will look like between Jan and Mar....any points dropped at that point will be very costly. What makes it all exciting is the introduction of FA Cup, Carling Cup, Europa ndogo and CL matches. I just hope all our top players will be fully fit during that period.....especially Wilshere, we need him back. Arsenal just dropped points to Wolves. Set out to correct the world's wrongs and you will most certainly wind up adding to them.

my team is now misbehaving. I have missed champions league far too long. If Liverpool does not hit the top four by the end of february, i am gonna hit the road to scout for a new team that will give me what i deserve. Ideas are welcomed (non Machester united though) African parents don't know how to say sorry.. the closest you will get to a sorry is a 'have you eaten'

We simply can't afford to drop points against these samll teams....this is a game you win 9 out of 10 times. Wenger's team selection also has to be questioned, Rosicky and Benayoun gave us nothing on the flanks. Its only Gervinho who did all the running from both sides....he should have brought on Oxlade-Chamberlain who's fast and has good dribbling skills.
Lucky for us the draw wasn't too costly because both Chelsea and L'pool also dropped points. Next we have QPR at home, i hope we'll be able to finish the job this time.

Clearly I got my predictions mixed up,Spurs ended up winning 2-0 and gooners drew, thought they'd run riot after scoring early.Guess justice was done by the draw, seeing as if anyone should have been sent off it should have been Song, though TV5 had legitimate appeal for a handball dismissed.Football for you.Spurs surprised me,they pretty much shut out Norwich. I expect their credentials to be tested when they play the big 5.2nd half of the season will throw in a lot of surprises and I can only hope we'll be on the right end of them BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

Things are beginning to become thicker than expected. Now even the tail rights for spurs are fast fading. For shitty and manugu am not able to see those lights. Not sure whether it is fog or what!! When I have money, I get rid of it quickly, lest it find a way into my heart.

@ Jus Blazin.....The same Stoke you drew with was hammered 5-0 by Bolton, same Man City that thrashed you 1-6 at home drew with Fulham, same Newcastle you drew with at OT was hammered 3-0 at home by Chelsea and also lost to West Brom (H)....Isn't this the same Wolves that broke your unbeaten run last season?
The EPL is always full upsets, all big teams have gone through this. When you play teams like Wigan, Bolton, Wolves, West Brom, Blackburn, Qpr etc you expect to get all three points anything other than that is an upset....they are all easy fixtures as @Smano had pointed out sometimes back. In the words of Arsene Wenger "It was the kind of game that if you play it 20 times, you win 19 and you draw one - and it was this one, which we could not afford." I'm almost certain Basel and Benfica will be dismantled in the knockout stages of the CL.
Just the other day Arsenal thrashed Wigan 4-0 away, that doesn't mean we are now better than Chelsea because they drew with the same team....they just had a bad day at the office.
In other news, Wigan have won their appeal against Conor Sammon's red card in their defeat to Manchester United on Boxing Day while Wolves appeal has been rejected.

@Taz, my point exactly. Even from your latest analysis, there are no easy games (on paper-yes, in actual sense-no). So United are not winning because they are playing fairly easy games. since King Henry is back with Jersey number 12, Arsene Wenger shud introduce 4-4-2 to make it easy for RVP & King Henry striking combination in January & February. German's Podolski will be joining permanently in January . "You're not supposed to be so blind with patriotism that you can't face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who says it". Malcolm X
