Any person with dividends due date

They promised it'll be by end of this month. When is ADM/AGM?

Last year they paid on 31st so I expect them any time in the next 2 weeks.

I am informed that the ADM is on Thursday 24th March 2016. This means dividends/interest may be paid as early as Monday 28th March 2016.
Let's just hope and wait.

Ngundi did your source tell you about ADM outcome? today is 25th and I assume ADM was yesterday

Hi Enyands et al.
"The dividends will be deposited in members account and will be available (for munching) next week".
Next week to me means Tuesday to Saturday smile

@Ngundi hope I'm not too much asking if you have a hint what was discussed at ADM especially with the closure of share sales

We need to have a true delegate from Wazua who can inform us adequately. Otherwise, if the ADM was really done, getting info seems like squeezing water out of stone!

Hi,
Hope you are doing well. The AGM will be held on 24th March 2016 and thus the dividend payment will follow.

You can continue buying shares as the deadline was extended untill further notice.

Key really is how do you become a delegate. Last year had a tiff with them on Agm, was told had to be a delegate to attend. So basically the Agm is attended by delegates, but to become one? Does one qualify , get chosen or what?

So it was held and they resolved not to have the register closed?

Jerry how different is ADM from AGM,and who qualifies for ADM in this case UNAITAS.

AGM is open to all members and there is normally no much incentive given by SACCOs to attend. This normally applies to SACCOs whose membership is drawn from a small geographical area meaning it's possible for all the members to attend.

In contrast, ADM applies to SACCOs that cover a wide geographical area and it's normally difficult for most members to attend without an "inducement". Since it's not practical to pay everyone, sections/(constituencies) of the members come up with representatives/delegates who represent them in an ADM. In some instances the ADM is mis-used by the Directors to pass unpopular resolutions with the payments they (delegates) receive serving as "chicken".

Keeping the registar open is fine as this is the cheapest way to raise capital. To gurd agaist dilution one needs to keep on buying .. at the rnd it will pay off handsomely

We also need to know the progress / plan to becoming a bank. And when the register will be closed.
