If Zain underestimated the numbers that will flock its network, it must have also overlooked how much it will subsidise the market. Will its network handle such mass migration?
Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.

One thing this should tell you is that jobs in Africa and in particular Kenya will be outsourced to India. Next time you call custcare you will be greated in urdu, then a thousand apologies tikee... SABmillers came to kenya will a similar CV what happened? and they are being rooted out of TZ by the same player..... I will repeat that Kenya is a different market and these guys will loose this keep the HQ here and concentrate on other parts of africa... just as celtel and zain did they both came with similar cvs celtel stating they are number in all countries they have a presence and can get cheap loans, Zain came with the petrol dollars and what happened? both had retrenchment to staff, then sale to the next bidder

No doubt Safaricom will respond. But as an investor, I'm only interested in ratios such as E.P.S, A.R.P.U and the like. These WILL GO DOWN. No two ways about it. So deal, why should I invest in a company with dwindling revenues in probably the next 2 years?

@jamani sounds like an embittered safcon shareholder... LOL... I have SOLD my safcon buy enjoying 3/- calls on Zain-Airtel...

And I call Zain, Orange or YU before I call safcon... LOL...
