What if the former CEO has been pimping the cash position? What if WPP Scangroup balance sheet is totally different from what has been posted in the past? What if the equity of the firm is significantly lower than what has been reported?

Possible. Just last year that German company called Wirecard was discovered to have an imaginary $2 billion cash in its books. And that is in a country that is supposedly with better financial markets oversight. Very possible.

31st August 2021 will be a day to behold....A buying price of sub-4 is worth the risk. Its either you eat or be eaten

Sub 4.0 is here with us. I think sub 2.0 could be a better deal

So sad. Anyway, in a few days we'll see the latest acrobatics. Maybe even another delay. No one fears no one

Thanks. Bad but not entirely terrible. I was expecting a restatement of previous years.

The "loss" seems primarily related to write downs of acquisitions which is understandable in this economic environment. We have seen FV losses for many firms including Centum.

Is a share buy-back loading as is currently happening with WPP stock on London's Stock Exchange?

Or a buy-out and delisting of minorities as they did in Australia earlier this year?
