Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Let me conduct a quick vote. Let wazuans decide by voting (1) or (2). Vote closes in 24 hrs:

1. @Maichblack has a monkey; or
2. @Sparkly needs to get laid.

I am buying the so called monkey as soon as it goes back to the 3.15/= levels.

Now spare Wazauans personal rants and post something that adds value to the community.

Tacit vote for (1). Next...

Can I vote for both? 😆😆

Vote taken smile smile

Around March or April there..

1. Kenya Power will release its half year results

2. TransCentury will release its FY results

So it will be interesting to see how these two monkeys perform Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

One thing I do know for sure both companies are struggling with debts

1. TransCentury https://www.businessdail...850502-boely/index.html

2. Kenya Power https://www.businessdail...68866-idjjfz/index.html

By the way if there is any sign of a turnaround... We will flag it here and join you guys...

Anyways Wazua would not be interesting if people didn't have divergent views...

For now these two monkeys (Tranny & KPLC) can not convince me they're bulls Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

It's a monkey. I own said monkey because it's a monopoly, it gave me dividends and a slight sense of warped patriotism.
Nothing wrong with owning a monkey as long as you are clear on what you are holding. I also own gorilla King qong. I make money trading it from its predictable ups and downs.

Arguments for Tranny, in my opinion,

1. Great story.
2.Turnaround efforts evident in loan restructuring, 50% reduction in net loss by half year.
3. Original guys who created the mess are no longer in the board.
4. Kuramo with 25% shareholding and additional shareholder loan has 3 board members watching their interests.
5. Great opportunity. 26b order book. Vision of getting to 50b order book by 2022.
6. Diversified income streams. 30% outside kenya.

Cons
Negative equity. Looking for an investor to shore up equity.
Cannot realise the projected growth without required working capital.

Final tally

1. MaichBlack has a monkey (5);
2. Sparkly needs to get laid (2)

Wazuans have spoken. A monkey is a monkey.
However @Sparkly will try to get laid before 2018 expires Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly
