It's a bargain f you are looking backwards. The future is uncertain.

Other than the sale by the group company (of which the bank gets to keep the Barclays brand)what else has changed or might change that would affect it's fundamentals

Corporate identity, culture, values.

For illustration purposes when woman gets married, she doesn't just drop her maiden name for that of the husband. Her status in the society changes, new position, new relationships within the family, community.

Barclays Africa is a woman leaving her father/ mother (Barclays Global) for a different future. No one knows if she will flourish or suffer home sickness. That is the uncertainty.
Life is short. Live passionately.

Unless bought out by one of the big three, the bank is on its death bed

Did I here/read "Barclays Global" is retaining 50.1%shareholding?
The opposite of courage is not cowardice, it's conformity.

The silent interim of 20 cents and no one talks about it? Does this mean Kenyans are already out of this stock?

@Realtreaty
Most of its shareholding is by Barclays Africa at 68% and institutional investors who bought it in Moi regime and early NARC days.
Retail investors are very few.
The institutional investors and other shareholders are in it for dividend not share price appreciation
Wealth is built through a relatively simple equation
