He is assisting his brother in law while his own sister is a barmaid at Maili nne near Eldoret and his brother who graduated from Eldoret polytechnic skins cattle in an abattoir. He tried seeking employment as a casual in the palace that Machozi is building but he was chased away. The workers constructing the palace were imported from Kericho.
