It seems things are elephant in ODM...much more than we are reading and seeing.

See this link:

Pressure on ODM to change leadership

Could you shed more light please if you are still standing by baba and the party...ama you have also abundoned him in his hour of need?smile

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly You guys will never stop, peace in any party is only gained when power is within, I consider whatever is happening in ODM very normal and I am glad it is happening in 2014 and not 2016!!!!

Now you need to ensure the momentum is not maintained upto 2016.smile

Which momentum @washiku, any serious political bidder should go directly to the people of Nyanza and they may get some support, depending on the noise makers looking for handouts is nothing. This is the reason why every election 70% of the MPs go home, many of them are never popular but use their positions to demand for concessions, Ababu makes so much noise and when baba does not go looking for him he panics and starts looking for baba, such is our politics!!!!!

@McReggae

I bet this time round things are abit different for baba...
He is facing a serious rebellion from the coast...
He will require a divine intervention in the land of shakhokho...
Once these two regions are gone ODM loses its national outlook that they have been boasting about...
Now what next for baba?
May be to abandon ODM and hijack OKPP...
Whichever way the circus goes CORD is just as good as dead
!!

OKPP is to be registered by baba's allies just to avoid potential rivals taking it up.
You may not agree but the future of Kenya is coalitions, any day baba will always have a substantial bloke to negotiate a coalition, what prevent say an ODM/TNA coalition against URP/ODM Fresh coalition. You can't call any of baba's political machines as dead!!!!

I remember babas LDP was swallowed and digested by Jogoo in a Kisirani...
The trouble is he has fallen out with the major political blocks and he is fast running out of any meaningful/significant block worth negotiating with..

oooh baba finished, ooooh ODM is gone, tell me who worries the establishment more than Baba or ODM?.......hii ingine ni bure tu!!!!!

Haya basi...toa goggles uende ukasaidie @tycho kuua vampires.

This is non-sense. ABK if you ask me...

This is a list by RAO not by the electorate. The troubles in ODM was not about sharing of the available positions but more of regime change...

I am wondering what happens when you put hyenas and goats in the same enclosure...
...besides, the presence of a safe alone does not signify that there is money inside...

What secretaries are these? Is it constitutional? If it is pretending to share non-existent cake to appease independent minded and sober voices, what would happen if the cake was actually available?? That said, th is it the beginning of the end

You see @Limanika only an idiot will not know that he/she is being conned or lied to. I believe most of those fellas who have been offered posts were the political rivals who faced themselves off in the botched party elections in Kasarani...

Putting somebody like Joho in a non elective post is pure mockery!!! This guy is now gone kabisa from ODM...

Again what is the point of putting so many people in the same post?? This is ill advised...

I think more problems have been created than solved in this lineup...Expect more troubles in future.

They are not...
But even as Raila, who remains the party leader, made this move, ODM is staring another rebellion in the face after elevating Namwamba. A section of members who have remained loyal in the face of Namwamba's rebellion are said to have been deeply angered by the decision to fill elective positions on an appointive basis and are considering their own rebellion. - See more at: http://www.the-star.co.k...et#sthash.RkOF8vWv.dpuf

Otuoma particularly felt slighted with the proposal to elevate Namwamba and single-handedly opposed the it during the weekend the retreat in Naivasha.

He stormed out of the meeting in anger and left Naivasha before the end of the retreat.
