What we are forgetting is that these rejected votes were all over the country.... some of those having those problems are the ones say, supporting RAO because of a possibility of a win or at least closing the gap. what you are forgetting is that there could be even a possibility that they actually favour the TNA to widen the gap further. Lets forget about the rejected votes. they are only there to give my good friend Mudavadi a run for his money!

My candidate conceded before i campaigned to have him cut a deal with the rejected votes!

So when is a vote declared as rejected? I fail to see the sense why for example a 'stray' would-be Governors vote slotted in the Presidential ballot box be used as a basis for computing the percentages (50%+1 Vote)...I could be wrong

My point exactly!

1. Spoilt votes are not cast into the ballot and hence they are not cast into the ballot box.
2. Rejected votes are cast into the ballot box and therefore are supposed to be part of the final tallying.

The constitution says cast votes = all votes in the box. We made it, promulgated it and celebrated it. let us use it now.

Your point number 2 - i have a question does you include the county-rep , parliament or senetors ballot papers on the presidential ballot box?

Some rejected votes make up the valid votes as defined by law and are to be considered in the vote count. Other rejected votes are void are so defined by law are only to be counted for IEBC administrative purposes nby the presiding officer.

The Rejected Vote Question

Me thinks the "alleged" hacking had to do with the high number of rejected votes on provisional results. Alternatively there was a malicious code on whatever system was tallying the results. Suddenly when we go analogue,Laughing out loudly the number looks reasonable.

Very embarrassing to IEBC

jameni.'rejection' madeemoni again.

But Wazua is indeed an online school.
I now know what amounts to;

-spoilt votes
-rejected votes
-valid votes
-total votes cast
-foreign objects in ballot boxes.
-Fatigue/queues and their influence on the voting process.
-strongholds

I also noticed that the number of voters is less than half the number of registered voters.
Almost 3/4 of registered v.countrywide go mia on voting day.
